Understand the question:
32 buttons = 20 (blue) + 12 (brown)
7 of the buttons are removed
how many of the brown buttons are left?
Analyze each statement:
(1) The difference between the number of blue buttons removed and the number of brown buttons removed is 1.
Total 7 buttons are removed
so Blue can either be 3 or 4
same case with brown buttons.
blue + brown = 7
4 + 3 = 7
3 + 4 =7
insufficient.
(2) Each of the first 4 buttons removed are brown
buttons removed can be 4 or more
insufficient.
1 + 2
Brown = 4
blue = 3
Total Brown - Brown removed
12- 4 = 8
brown buttons are left.

Blue =5 , brown =4 , remaining buttons of brown = 8
Similarly blue =6 , brown =1 , remainig buttons of brown = 11
Clearly insufficient
(2) Each of the first 4 buttons removed are brown.
remaining buttons to be blue ,then the no of brown buttons = 8
remaining buttons are 2 brown and 1 blue , then the no of brown buttons = 6
Clearly insufficient
When 1 and 2 is combined we get 4 brown and 3 blue
remaining brown buttons = 8
Cleatly sufficient
Therefore IMO C
