Hi all,
I have been admitted to Stern (full-ride), while no scholarships were offered from LBS and Duke.
Post MBA, I would like to work in investment banking or consulting.
From my understanding,
Stern
Pro - one of the best in finance, many interesting finance classes, in NYC!!, scholarship!
Con - Not quite good in consulting, not quite strong alumni network in Asia
LBS
Pro - Have a strong alumni network, well-known in finance & consulting (??)
Con - I'm from Asia so I wonder whether going to study at UK will have a problem about work visa for post MBA or not.
Duke
Pro - not expensive compared to Stern and LBS, well-known in consulting (not much in finance, right?), strong alumni network
Con - quiet city....

Very interesting. The full ride really makes it easy right? Stern has very balanced recuiting profile - MC, IB, Tech - the only thing you may not get is the "prestige" that comes with LBS - but hey, those who awe at your school's brand arent the one taking 200k in loans.
Stern is good in MC - this year (co 2019) summers MBB took 35-40 students, similar to Ross and Duke.
Duke is awesome too - can't go wrong but not worth leaving the scholarship.
BTW - have you asked either Duke or LBS to match the scholarship?
