Hello!
I recently received acceptances to Georgetown, NYU, and Darden. I was originally thinking I’d have to decide between Stern and Darden but I received a $100,000 Forte Scholarship to McDonough which has made my decision much more difficult. I think that I’ve narrowed it down to Stern and McDonough but am pretty conflicted from there. The scholarship is such a generous amount that I’m starting to think it might make up for the difference in name recognition/ranking? Any advice would be appreciated!!
PS: Post MBA I’m planning on going back to gain some additional leadership in a consulting/operations role before transitioning to non-profit work. I’m from NYC originally but have lived in DC for a few years and love it but I think that long term I will prefer to eventually be back in the NYC area. I also have always loved Charlottesville and think I could save a good amount of $$ there with the lower cost of living but being outside of a major city was one reason why I am less inclined to consider Darden.
