It is a tough place to be on the WL but a maybe is usually better than a ding.

I asked the ad-com and got this response. "We expect waitlist managers to be assigned and begin reaching out to waitlisted applicants before the end of the month. Once assigned, your waitlist manager will contact you via email. "

Hello all, any advices on what to communicate with the waitlist manager alloted?

As per the waitlist seminar conducted in December, any relevant updates related to professional achievement or community service could be shared. So, if you have significant updates to share, please submit them to your waitlist manager, understanding that they value quality over quantity. They also said, don't share something just for the sake of sharing it. One of the girls in that seminar converted her waitlist without sharing any updates. Whereas one of my friend, who was waitlisted last year and couldn't convert, submitted 4-5 updates, each every month. So, keep that in mind.

No. They said they "might" clear one off the waitlist. They can still keep you in the waitlist to compare with the candidate pool in the following rounds.

Hello fellow gmatclubbers, so for those of us waitlisted from R1, is our next hope also on the March 17th decision date?
I realize the call may come our way through April, May and even into the summer, and apparently more people get off the waitlist after April...

Any idea how many people waitlisted from R1 may be given admission on March 17th date?

I don’t think anyone will have idea about number of folks getting off waitlist during R2 decision date - best thing will be to wait and watch!

Do you know the process to share the additional letter of recommendation with the Adcom? I remember reading somewhere that they had specified the particular subject line of the email and the email address where this additional letter of recommendation has to be sent.
