The question format is fairly close to the actual thing, but generally, prep companies have a harder time creating good/realistic verbal content as compared to quant content.
However, many people are quite fond of MGMAT when it comes to giving a decent indication of the actual GMAT.
Moreover, I can only recommend having a look at the reviews of the respective product (e.g. prep test) to get a more detailed overview.
