GMAT Club's Reading Comprehension Quiz-I Starts on Wednesday, Mar 01, 2023
Why?
Let's conquer Reading Comprehension together! Participate in this competition and get your RC skills polished alongside winning some exciting prizes. This is a 10 days long quiz and you will definitely see improvement in your Reading Comprehension prep, And yes only in case you participate in all 10 days.
How it works:
- Every day I will post 2 passages for participants to attempt and post explanations.
- Questions will be posted around 7-8 am Pacific Time
- The competition will start on March 1 and end on March 10, Non-stop
Prize for Winners
- The first three positions will get GC Tests Pro for 3 months
- 4th and 5th positions will get a GC Forum Quiz subscription for 3 months or GC Tests for 2 Months
Competition Rules
- The questions will be posted in competition mode for 1 day (24 hours) so members cannot see other members’ posts or replies.
- Members who post explanations will be considered for the competition to win the prize.
- Copy-paste explanations (if any) will not be accepted and posts will be deleted.
- Explanations must be comprehensive, and the reason why wrong answers are wrong and correct answer is correct must be posted.
- A participant needs to explain all questions of at least 5 RCs to be eligible to win a prize.
- This master thread will be updated daily so bookmark this thread and keep visiting it to get the new questions and updates

Below is the summary of what you have got served during the Quiz days.
*Ten passages labeled with the "GMAC Official source" tag have been sourced from the Vstudy Book, a pre-2000 GMAT practice question book. According to the book, these questions are purported to be official GMAC material. After conducting research, it has been determined that a significant majority, if not all, of the questions are of good quality and may indeed originate from the official source. Therefore, the "GMAC Official source" tag has been added to the passages based on this research and the likelihood that they are official material. However, it cannot be claimed with complete certainty that these questions are 100% official.
The aforementioned passages were originally in JPG format. In order to make them copyable, I utilized OCR software to convert the images into text. Next, I pasted the text into a Microsoft Word document to identify any spelling or grammatical errors and subsequently removed any such errors. Although the JPG images were not entirely clear and may contain typos, I made every effort to ensure that the resulting text was of high quality, as I believe this would be of value to our members.
The following are the winners with prizes they won.
Winners can reach out to me via PM for the prize access within three months starting from today.
