One of my biggest objectives in doing an MBA is to make a geographical switch. To be precise, my target country is Canada.
Now, although my dream school has always been insead, and I know I will get the best education there, I cant help the feeling I would improve my chances if I did my MBA in a top Canadian business school instead.
Can anyone share data on the placement rate for insead grads in Canada.
Will I have a better chance if I did my MBA locally (in Canada ) as opposed to doing it in France (does campus location play a big role)?
Generally, I would say there is no problem to go to Canada after Insead, if you have a work permit. I am not sure, what is your plan after the school, but if you are aiming for consulting, it is for sure not an issue. The only piece of advice I can give - be in p4-5 (ideally p3) in Fonty. This is where the North America career services located. So, you can start in Singy and then move to Fonty at a point when you concentrate on finding the job.
