(1) 2b + h = 6
(2) (bh)^2 = 16

We can not find bh from stat 1

One equation with two variables ..not sufficient in this case
option A & D are rejected
(2) (bh)^2 = 16
Value of bh can be identified and hence Area is 1/2 * bh....sufficient
Hence B
