I took Gmat in Jan, this year and scored 590 (M47/V25) after around 3 months of preparation. So, I studied for naother 4 months and took the exam again only to a score a pathetic 620.I am working mother(1yr baby) and having a very hard time preparing for the exam. Can anyone advice me if this score is good enough to apply for the universities. I am actually to retake the exam as I know my Math score is bad this time. But I am not sure if taking GMAT for the third time and improve by just few points (I might be able reach 650 mark max if i write again)will make me less preferable by universities .(you know, took 3 times and still scored just 650).Please advice if its better to apply with this score or re-take the exam and give a try.
Being a working woman plus a baby...620 is a lot. I remember a woman, who within 5 months of giving birth to a baby took gmat and got into ISB...
It will really depend on the colleges and how you articulate your essay
Consider kudos if my post helps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can speak from experience, yes. 3 times is usually seen as totally acceptable, now once you go over that # there are different theories on how Adcom reacts. Feel free to take the GMAT for a 3rd time, good luck!

I don't think there will be an issue if you take the exam for the third time. I am sure you can convince adcoms even if they express any doubt.
