Hi, its been 7 months i am preparing for the GMAT. Till, i didn't give my 1st attempt. I am very much confused with my expert's global mock scores.
1st Mock- 520
2nd Mock- 570
3rd Mock- 600
4th Mock- 650
5th mock- 440 ( I gave yesterday)
I gave all the mocks in interval of 10-13 days .When i saw my 5th mock score, i get bit upset and confused that when should i give my 1st attempt. I was thinking to give it in 1st week of may. I practice a lot and a lot on my weak topics in SC and CR. I know the RC portion always hits me back, But still i am confused that how can my score get drop with 200 points. Please share some views and guidance. I shall be very much thankful

I am sorry to say, but you need to stop giving mocks. I think you need to build strong foundation. Please understand that just giving mocks will not lead you anywhere.

If you have not used or dont have any resources you can get going with Quant.
1- study each topic from this megathread: https://gmatclub.com/forum/ultimate-gma ... l#p1886497
2- After each topic, don't jump to the next until you practice questions on it.
3- After finishing a topic, go to the questionbank https://gmatclub.com/forum/search.php?view=search_tags
4- Choose the same topic, start with the easy difficulty, and choose known sources only (Offical guide, Kaplan, Veritas, Manhattan,....) and click search
5- Rearrange the questions in descending order according to the number of kudos.
6- Solve the top questions (easy top 50) (medium top 25) (hard top 15)
7- for each question, use the time counter.
8- for any question that you solved too slow or solved wrong, add it to you bookmark.
9- read the explanation of each questions thoroughly (both right and wrong ones)
10- pay attention to how the questions are answered and the concept behind
11- if you find any new concept or formula, write it down in a separate paper for your reference.
12- repeat these steps for each topic by advancing from easy to medium to hard.
13- don't skip a level without making sure that the previous level is mastered (easy 90%, medium 80%, hard 65%)
14- don't skip a day without solving quant.
You need to have a strong base to tackle GMAT.
Hope it helps. After you master quant move to Verbal. I suggest that you dont worry about verbal until you are comfortable solving Quant questions with at least 60% accuracy.

Since you have been studying for 7 months and just scored 440 on your latest practice exam, I think you need to analyze HOW you have been studying and make some changes, right? I’m happy to provide some advice but would like to learn more about your situation with the GMAT. I have a few questions.
-- have you been studying consistently for the last 7 months?
-- what resources have you been using?
-- have you taken any official GMAC practice exams?
-- what is your score goal?
-- when are your application deadlines?
