Hi all! Looking for insights from anyone who transitioned from an H-1B to an F-1 (pursuing a PhD). Specifically, my friend (Indian national) is applying for their F-1 while their spouse has an approved I-140. If there’s anyone who has experience navigating the consular interview with a pending 'intent to immigrate' in the household, would love to connect!

I have no idea to be honest

But, I have read that most of the visa rejections this year are for PhDs
So, I think that adds to the anxiety for sure
