Hi,
I know that some schools want to see what you have done outside of work and school- such as volunteering. I guess what I want to know how much weight does this carry in the MBA application? My volunteering experience consists of:
1) Tutor at math center for more than 6 months, but I get paid. The money I get from here is not a lot and I end up donating the money to hospitals. (Does this still count as volunteering? Do I have to make it clear that I am donating my money?)
2) American Lung Association for 3 years, but I only help out during their events. They usually have 3 or 4 events per year and I participate in all.
3) Volunteer experiences in college- I did volunteer in college, but can I use that? It is also outdated (around 2012 and 2014) and I plan on applying to schools either this year or next.
Is this considered ok for my application?
