For those of you on the waitlist, take action! retake the GMAT or GRE if it is under the class profile average, step up your international work projects, get a promotion, take on a leadership position in the community.
But at the same time, do you apply to other schools. Your "loyalty" to INSEAD is not going to impact the outcome. It's not like a romantic relationship.
Prepare one solid update letter, don't bug them all the time. One maybe two update letters max and they have to be meaty! not desperate
Of course, make sure to communicate your interest every month. I've seen people get off the waitlist all the way up to the month before the program started, but that said I really want for you to empower yourself with other choices and not rely on anything like that.
I'm very much against the the INSEAD or nothing attitude, you will get a ton out of any top program you attend.
