From what I can tell, there has been one US Wharton Lauder applicant. Does anyone know if there has been more than the one from the BTG site? I have not heard of any other US applicants getting an invite.

Have you guys received any confirmation email after booking your interview? While I was scheduling the interview, the system showed error, I am just curious whether it was completely booked or not.

Hi Guys,

Can Anyone tell me what the hub interview dates are in India, more specifically in New Delhi. I selected an interview date for March 16th. Is the too late for the Round 2 interviews? I read somewhere on this forum that all interviews must be completed by march 2.

Please do reply as I fear I might need to change my interview slot.

Thanks,

for those interviewing in London, can you confirm if there are slots available or all dates for the hubs are booked. Just wondering i am based out of London and haven't received an invite yet!!

just wondering if its all over!!!

GS18- they were full in the morning, but they added many more for 2/22 and 2/23 in the afternoon. I wouldn't give up hope yet!

I got an invite at around 4PM EST as well. For those keeping track, I'm based in India.

girlinblack, I had the exact same problem as you, but I do have a registered slot.

hi,

Can you let me know what the interview dates are for India. I am based in Delhi and the only interview I could sign up for was for March 16th. Just hoping i have selected a date for the Round 2 and not Round 3 interviews. Kindly let me know.

Thanks,
Amit

Hi Amit, You need not worry. the Wharton Adcom member is in India from 12th - 16th March and are conducting interviews between those dates. They can't expect us to complete interviews by March 2nd when they themselves are coming later than that.

Delhi Dates are : 15th & 16th
Mumbai Dates are : 12th , 13th & 14th.

I have mine at Mumbai on 13th.

Hi Girlinblack,

Thank you for the update. Can you (or any other invitee) tell us as to how many slots were initially slated for any given day so as to get an idea of the number of candidates they will be interviewing on each day?

I believe that the rd1 interviews were also for five days in India. With rd2 typically having many more candidates that apply, I was expecting more number of interviews to be held in India and consequently at least a week of interviews!

So are they dishing out the same no of interviews as rd1 (thereby making the competition stiffer?) or are the adcom reps slogging for more hours each day (interviewing additional candidiates) or does this just mean that more no of Indian candidates would have to now travel all the way to Philly for an interview?

Thanks in advance.

Sam

If I remember correctly, many R1 international applicants were invited to interview AFTER the hub city slots filled and either did Skype interviews or came to Philly. If you're an international applicant I would not assume anything simply because the slots in the hub cities are filling up and you haven't received the invite yet. I highly doubt that Wharton is matching the number of available hub slots to the amount of invites they plan to send out.

Congrats to all the invitees~

Just wondering if there would be another wave of invites?
Or the party is just over for the intl. applicants who have not received an invitation yet  ?

Party's not over till it's over. I think international students make up the majority of the applicant pool, and Wharton is only 2 of 5 weeks into the interview invitation window. I wouldn't worry about it. As someone else said, I'm much more concerned that I didn't get an invitation from HBS when they dropped the bomb last Tuesday.

Of course not !!! I strongly feel that we will get atleast 3 more big waves - on 10,17 and 24th. In addition we should get 1-2 more waves around the 27/28th after which the dings will roll on 28th Feb.

So atleast till 24th, I won't be worried about a ding. Apprehensive about NOT being able to get to interview in my hub city -Yes, but definitely not a reject :)

Some rough calculations for those interested:
In order to get about 900 students, atleast 400 would be from rd2, if not more. Considering the 40% acceptance rate and the 30%+ shunning of offers by accepted candidates, I think they should interview around 1500 students. (They then accept around 600 out of which about 400-420 accept their offer)

So I think we have a huge timeframe left for the interviews to come out. I know the wait is agonising to say the least but we must hang in there buddy ... Lot of blood yet to flow!

Regards,
Sam

Registered for 10th Mar as well. Got an error message, but when I checked back online and clicked on Events, it showed my schedule so it should be fine.

For those wondering, Mumbai dates were for Mar 8-10 while Delhi dates were the week after (Mar 15-17).

@Cholomaputol,
Thanks for that. But isn't it surprising that they have a long break between the two hubs when they are just 2hrs apart? So either the adcoms have given themselves a break to see Taj Mahal and stuff(!) or it is more likely that some new dates will be added after the next batch of invites between 11-14.

Historically, Mumbai sees more applicants so it is likely that 11-12 are added for Mumbai and 14th for Delhi with a 1-day break in between for the adcom rep to travel and settle down in Delhi! (or maybe only 12th for Mumbai since 11th is a Sunday)
God, how I Love to speculate like this :)

In any case, I think there is something to cheer for all the Indian applicants waiting to hear.

Best of luck,
Sam

got an invite, registered for London...
but not sure whether to go. Just accidentally noticed on their site that they do not provide loans without US cosigner, while I was more that sure they do.
Can someone confirm that they canceled this option?

From a student on the adcom when I visited: 40% of applicants interviewed. 40% of interviews offered admission. 40% of admitted offered fellowships.
