There are many benefits to timing your practice, including:
Quite a few have reported seeing checklists. Seems a little unlikely so many would get accepted. The ratio seems a bit off.
Sorry folks if I'm bursting anyone's bubble - just trying to point out we should be a little guarded and not set ourselves up for disappointment. Alternatively, for those who don't see the checklist - seriously guys, i don't think it means anything.
I'd like to believe you! But the fact that they even write "You must register and begin the verification process with Re Vera by the enrollment deadline", and a link below that for Next Steps seems quite self explanatory! Only a few hours to confirm this hypothesis.
I agree. Pretty hard not to believe it is a done deal at that point...unfortunately do not have such information on my page. Congrats to all those who do!

Mine has none of those too. Oh well... let's not get negative here. Nothing is set on stone until official letters are out. Besides.. I do agree that quite a large no. Of ppl have the checklist on their page making it quite unlikely.
Ok guys, I promised myself that I would not check anything unless I received an official email from Wharton... but you definitely drove me crazy! So I did... and I have just seen that I have that check list as well. However, I agree with the point that it seems that a lot of people are reporting the same. Hence, let's stay calm and see.
I think the checklist means nothing... Whoever filled in their personal profile can see the checklist... Although I want it to be a sign because I have the checklist as well...

I personally had filled out the profile and yet have no such list. In any case, will see in a few hours. Good luck to all!
I agree that we should not be too negative. That being said I was. I was not very confident in my application in the first place because by background is very different from normal Wharton students and my gmat score wasn't very promising as well... I do think that the checklist situation has a lot of relevance! In any case .. Good luck to everyone!
@Vmtp if you were invited for interview, it means that your background is good enough right? I didn't do well in my interviews and TBD but still.. trying to keep the hope up. Besides, it can be as simple as they are testing the features and all those who register their profile within a certain time period get the check list. Haha Anyway, all the best for all of us.
I'm not sure I even know where the VIP section is. I've logged into the "My Wharton" page (which I hardly ever do, I always used to access my application via "apply to Wharton".
Anyway, all I can see is the words "Welcome" a picture of Ty Meeks to the right under "meet our students" and on the left I have:

I agree with rb162. The checklist does seem like a glitch given that the actual decisions have not been released and given the "glitchy-looking" webpage formatting. We cannot assume that the glitch only appears for those who are already accepted.
That's exactly what I see as well. Going by the conversation thread, it probably isn't a great sign, but I don't think it helps stressing about it and speculating. Just trying to stay positive and hope that this means nothing.
It's going to be a struggle to distract myself for the next few hours, but we will all know soon enough.
Best of luck everyone! Don't forget to breathe.

Oh wow, I wake up to THIS.
