the only info i had from them in a email was

In no particular order, we will be releasing invitations to interview starting at the end of January and continuing through to mid-February.

no 28th
???

Where do you guys see the 28th? I don't see any communications that mentions a specific date, just "end of January".

The Wharton Admissions Committee had sent out an email (a day after the Jan 7 deadline) titled "Round two information" from which I quote the following snippet:

Quote:
The Admissions Committee will release interview invitations between Tuesday, January 28th and Tuesday, February 25th. Due to the nature and complexity associated with the admissions process there is no particular order in which invitations are released. Also on February 25th, the Committee will release all final admissions decisions to candidates that are not being invited for an interview and therefore no longer being considered for admission.

A few more hours before the first few interview invites go out I suppose :yikes

Wrong email. You're looking at the email with the subject line "Next Steps in the Application Process".
Look for an earlier email with the subject line "Round Two Information". This will have the date you're looking for.

in round 1, it seemed like Wharton released interviews every tuesday, and some thursdays also if I remember correctly. So there's no need to wait by your email all day - it wasnt a random daily event, more like a scheduled release one/twice per week. Knowing this initially would have saved me a ton of anxiety.

Good luck everyone

almost 11 pm here in Singapore, and I'm having the same problem. But like it's said above, if the invites are not going to go out before 2-3pm EST, we really should just go to sleep! :)

Yep, GL!

and as GN said, its a long month. I got my interview the second to last release date (2-3 days before the end of the timeline) and was a nervous wreck that I hadn't heard anything. Try and relax (easier said than done haha I know). the timing of the interview notifications means nothing.
