Realistically this forum has 10-20% of all admitted applicants.
Waitlisted means saved for a possibly opening spot if some student cancels or gets hit by a bus.
Chances of that are one of a hundred.
On top of this this person should be willing to go back to the forum and let everyone know.

So I'd say it's statistically impossible to trace it.
Also it would give you false hopes. Maybe it's for the best. Maybe it meant to be to try harder next time and enter Stanford MSx program instead? Or Berkeley. Or to invest 200k into something else..

It is strange that I couldn't find a single example of a waitlisted candidate being admitted in the last 3-4 year old threads. Perhaps once they get admitted they no longer care to reply to the thread.

So the deadline to accept at Yale SOM EMBA was this week, and rather than risk not going anywhere, I accepted and made a post about it yesterday evening on LinkedIn. Like clockwork, I just received an email from Wharton saying they updated my decision letter and I was officially denied admission. I think someone at the adcom saw my post. Everything happens for a reason they say. Good luck everyone still on the WL! I hope you get admitted to the program of your choice.
