Guys the deadline is the 27th. My understanding is the following. Folks that have full or considerable financial sponsorship from their organizations get preferential treatment. Then the rest of the world. Best of luck to all

Where did you hear this? I'd assume that a good majority of applicants do not receive considerable financial sponsorship from their organizations...

I got an email without any information about acceptance or rejection asking me to call back. I called back and Barbara Craft from SF Admissions let me know I was accepted, gave me a few dates for next steps and told me official letters would be coming on Wednesday.

Many congratulations CTA,

I have a question that I hope you will be able to answer.

Assuming that you are an international student given you have an international phone no, I wanted to understand if the admissions committee has a favourable/ neutral view to those candidates who may continue to work abroad while studying at Wharton.

I understand it is a requierment to keep the job you currently hold as it was part of the evaluation made by admissions. It was even an essay question and sponsorship by the company is requiered. But im not 100%. Anyone understood diferently?

Apologies for lack of clarity.

Let me try again.

Are you an international student i.e. are you based on US or elsewhere? I assumed you are an international student.

If you are an international student, were you required to convince the admissions committee that you can manage study and work (while keeping your job in home country).?

Sorry, yes, i am mexican and will continue to work in Mexico. During the interview I was asked if the commute would be a problem, I let them know the several options I have to get there. It actually wont be that diferent than anyone that lives more than 2 hrs away from an airport with a direct flight.

Not sure if admissions considers this favorable or irrelevant.

CTA once again congrats but i have a quick question which obviously dont have to answer. Is your company/organization financially sponsor you? And by that i mean considerably and not just 5-10K a year? Thanks buddy
