What is the greatest common divisor of positive integers m and n ?

(1) m is a prime number.
(2) 2n = 7m

1)
m is a prime means 2,3,5,7,11 etc..
n could be anything if it is 4 then the common divisor is 2

If it is 1 then the GCD is 1

Insufficient.

2) 2n = 7m

If n = 7 then m = 2 and the GCD is 1

if n = 14 then m = 4 the GCD is 2

Insufficient.

When combined together 2n = 7m and m is prime

Let m = 2 then n = 7 and m and n have no common factor. GCD = 1


Answer choice C
