this is very hard and cost you a lot of time
in this kind, many verbs are present, some of them are paralel, one of them is mofifier of another verb,
we have to find out the logic here.
anyone have any special skill for doing this kind, pls help
For this question we have got to look at the parallelism logic used, there are 2 rules, either:
Once Outside, -> "..advised parents to discuss.., avoid.., and turn"
or, Twice (or more) Inside -> "..advised parents to discuss,.. to avoid.., and to turn..
The meaning and the AC's should give you a hint at what actions (verbs) should be parallel.
Then, regarding Present Participle Modifiers (verb+ing) you have to memorize 2 things:
1. When separated by comma modifies the preceding clause. (eg. The engineer identified the problem, using the latest technology)
2. When not separated by comma, modifies the preceding noun or noun phrase. (eg. John sat in the minivan carrying seven passengers -> 'carrying seven passengers' modifies 'minivan')
Here, putting the news coverage into perspective modifies the whole preceding clause as it is referring to the way parents should discuss the disturbing event with their children.
[While you're at it, you might also want to look at past participle modifiers (verb+ed) and memorize the difference between them.]
Hope this helps!
