It is very easy if x is the diameter, then the magnified length is 1000x.
ince 1000x=0.5 then x=0.5/1000=0.0005.

Diameter of circular piece of tissue is $$0.5$$ cm when magnified $$1000$$ times.

Actual diameter of circular piece of tissue without magnification would be $$= \frac{0.5}{1000} = 0.0005$$ cms
