In this problem, we are looking whether the Line pass through third quadrant . conceptually , any line that has Positive slope (Upward slope) will pass through third quadrant , that is, the line has either x or y or both coordinate points as negative .
We have to find the line in the choice that has negative slope and Positive y - intercept that is , it doesn't pass through the third quadrant
Only Choice C written in slope intercept form satisfies the condition .
Alternatively , you can substitute " Zero " for x and y in each equation to find the x and y coordinate points.
Only Choice C has both x and y coordinate points has Positive .

for this question you have to just find the slope of the each line. If the slope of the line is negative that it will not pass through 3rd quadrant.
Convert the each line to y=mx + C form . In this m is the slope of the line. if for any line m is negative that will be our required answer.
