Yale Class of 2016 Calling all applicants!

This is really early for this question, so I think you're trying to hedge your bets with other R1 schools or even R2 schools

Last year, I believe R1 deposts were due March 1st. We heard back December 13/14 or so and there was a welcome weekend for admitted students in late January or early February. Not sure if the date will stay the same this year, so look out for more details once you get the call!

Thank a lot Aerien! I'm really just trying to put a calendar together and consider all dates! At least for me it looks like an uphill battle to get into Yale but it doesnt hurt to be informed. Thanks again

I have just received an interview invite and am currently living in Asia.
Stats are 3.2/690/4 years M&A experience.

For what its worth, I thought I did very poorly on the video portion so I am a little surprised with the invite. So to others who are also not pleased with their video performance, you have hope.

Anybody in Asia who got the invite? Anybody know if they send out invites geographically?

I am kind of shocked by the lack of movement thus far... Maybe its just an ultra-competitive year.

seems like last year most of the invites went out around Nov 1st....so let's hope that they big wave is approaching soon.

I am US based applicant and I have a question about Yale's interview invitation process...I logged onto my online application and I see a link that says "Interview Requested - Click here to respond".

My question is: is this a formal request for Yale SOM's interview process, as in, the admissions committee completed review of my file and I am being invited to New Haven for an interview. The reason I ask this question is - I did not receive an email of any kind, so I just wanted to make sure before I get my hopes up . My invitation to Cornell was much more formal, email followed by a phone all, so any help in this regard would be appreciated. Thank you so much.

seems like you are invited for an interview. Did you check your spam folder or maybe the email will be forthcoming.
