I called admissions yesterday, they said they'll be done with the majority of interview invites by feb, but that it could go out in march as well

she said by feb, so my interpretation is that it's implicitly by the end of Feb.

So they'll be done with the invites or the interviews itself?

Looks like this is the case... the interview scheduling system on Yale's internal website goes out to about the middle of Feb.... they could add more dates tho.

Having gone through the invite process in multiple ways now, I must say I prefer either a mid-decision deadline or multiple interview invite waves.

LOL Just 3 years ago (back when I was applying to business schools), we only had 4 color coding system in the forum....green, blue, yellow and red.

Hey! I'm applying to Yale SOM MBA in time for final deadline -Round 3- Anyone know if any slots are still available by final round for international applicants? I noticed Yale SOM has a pretty low yield rate compared to other schools- despite its small class size-not sure if this has any impact on place numbers available. Any info would be greatly appreciated!!

This was a big issue when I applied; glad to see they are still causing mild heart attacks for all the incoming people.

HAHA! What were the main pitfalls associated with applying to Yale? I noticed that it seems to be a lot lower in the rankings compared to the reputation it seems to command over here in the UK! Is it a case of Oxford/Cambridge syndrome where the MBA programme may not be as highly ranked as it should be, but still you have exposure to the awesome alumni network/reputation of the uni as a whole? Anyone have any idea of what Yale Som's reputation is like with IB's over in the UK? thx!
