since I am from engineering background I thought that quant in gmat will be a cake walk for me.But situation was different. When I gave my first mock my quant score was Q42.It was way below my expectation.I searched a lot about where can I get good quant course.Trust me guys egmat quant live course is the best course I came across. The key features of the course is the method used to explain each and every topic is in very interactive manner.I never felt bored of any topic while studying from egmat. There is sectional topic wise quiz after each topic which helped me solidify the concepts.
The most important thing that had significant impact in my preparation was As an expert tool and live session.from doubts of other students I learned a lot.Whenever I had a doubt any topic I always got expert advice which helped me to clear my doubts. The quiz format for solving questions also give the ambience real test which helped me to improve timing.
The other high light , live session is a must attend for every student who is aiming a good quant score. In the live session they helped me solve the questions in a step by step aproach.which improved my accuracy tremendously. Also live sessions taught me the process to follow while solving 700 level approach. While attending live session I had experience of sitting in a classroom with other students.Thats how interactive it is.The scholaranium helped my findout my weakness and helped me to fine tune my preparation
After attending quant live course my quant score improved tremendously and it improved to 49.A big thanks to egmat for that.Egmat became my best friend during my gmat journey.
Egmat quant live course is a must for every gmat aspirant.I highly recommend it all the gmat aspirants. You will love the preparation once you start learning through Egmat.
Like many others when beginning their GMAT prep, I took a practice test to gauge my current ability. I got V42 and let’s just say a very low quant score. Understandably, I decided to focus all my effort on quant. At first, I was reluctant to buy any products because of all the free materials available online. I was quickly overwhelmed. I didn’t know where to begin. There was too much data for me to process from too many sources. Plus, I read that some of the free content may not even be GMAT relevant. So, I set out to find a product I could trust that would be my one-stop shop for GMAT prep. Lo and behold I discover e-GMAT’s free Number Properties webinar. I attended the webinar and liked it a lot. The instruction was clear and with plenty of insights. I thought I improved after that one session.
That prompted me to go for e-GMAT’s free trial, and my positive experience there led me to the full Quant Live Prep course. I’ll list out the things I like most about e-GMAT:
- The product is organized really well. It’s broken up into 5 broad areas (Number Properties, Algebra, Geometry, Word Problems, Advanced Topics), each of which contains all the lessons you need to become a master at the topic. Because of this, I didn’t spend time on creating a study plan. My plan was to just go through all the sections one by one, and re-evaluate after completion.
- Scholaranium is a great tool. It was super handy once I completed the course because it allowed me to target my weak areas and really iron out those remaining wrinkles.
- The audio-visual format of e-GMAT is a great complement to other resources you may be using (e.g. the OG). Research shows that learning via different mediums (e.g. textbook, lecture, discussion) is better for retention than learning via a single medium.
- And lastly, my questions would get a response within 24 hours.
Just to share my progress, I recently took e-GMAT’s proctored exam and scored in the Q49-51 range, which makes me hopeful for the real thing coming up in a month.

I subscribed to VLP after having a dismal performance on the GMAT for the 3rd consecutive time. Although I have been an eGMAT client for over two years, I never really implemented the eGMAT processes and always answered questions based on shortcuts and gut feeling. Though I learnt the concepts well from VO, I still succumbed to pressure and anxiety at the time of the test.
Before I share my 2 cents on VLP, let me clarify a myth right here. VLP isn’t a classroom model (instructor-led) coaching to teach you the basics and redo the VO course, but with an instructor instead, VLP complements the VO by helping you to assume the role of both the test maker (Prethink) and test taker (POE). This is precisely why VLP is the best course available in the market.
Here are my brief opinions about the VLP course, in parts:
RC: I have heard enough of reading the passage slowly but never spent my time in knowing what is the optimal reading speed and time. VLP – RC sessions helped me discover how to read a passage and answer RC questions with high accuracy. I have now improved my accuracy to over 80% from a meagre 50%, and I attribute it entirely to the master comprehension course and the VLP- RC sessions.
CR: I usually fare better at CR generally with 70% accuracy but the average time I spend on CR question was way over 2:30 mins. However, after diligently applying the approaches (Prethink and POE) taught in the live sessions, I am now able to see a good improvement in my accuracy while taking much lesser time to answer CR questions (< 2 mins).
SC: I used to score low in SC due to poor comprehension skills. The master comprehension course helped me a lot in SC as well. Now I can break down sentences into smaller chunks and assimilate the meaning and proceed with the POE. The instructors who conducted the live sessions helped me understand the different processes in solving the different error types and made the SC question-solving process a breeze. I have improved my accuracy by leaps and bounds but taking close to 2 mins, which I believe will come down naturally with good practice.
Having outlined these opinions, I believe I will be able to apply the VLP approaches in my next retake and achieve my target score. Stay tuned for a debriefing after my GMAT.
Final Verdict: VLP course will make you think like a test-maker thereby resulting in improving your accuracy to peak levels, and VLP should be your go-to course if you are targeting a good verbal score (V40+).
I started enrolling for the e-GMAT Live Prep for 1 month and I managed to attain a GMAT score of 610. Although this might not seem much, I studied only for a short period of time. Having said that, I intend to retake the GMAT again in around 3 months time and I will still have e-GMAT to use.
I find that e-GMAT is a very good resource and quite worthwhile for its price. As a native speaker, I found it very useful and easy to understand. However, despite being a native speaker, in school, I was not properly taught what are verbs, nouns, adjectives, etc, but learnt these over time and years from conversations with my friends at a basic level. So, since the e-GMAT Verbal section is good, since it uses a lot of such keywords, I was not able to fully utilise those materials until I slowly learnt the definitions and usage of those technicalities and fundamentals of English.
Over time, one will get used to the GMAT format and how they test you and you will improve greatly the more you invest your time practicing.
Good luck to everyone taking the GMAT!
the egmat verbal online course is quite concuse and intensive with great examples. Its self paced and you can easily take out teo hours each day to lear the concepts.. it covers all the concepts with examples.. . This was my first time using any GMNAT Prep Course and to improve upon my Verbal I chose the e-gmat's Verbal Live Prep. First off - their customer service is very fast and a total delight. Now about the course : I am the kind of student who likes to study with the fundamentals. I am not one to memorize a list of tips and tricks. E-GMAT aligned really well with my study pattern as it goes into the deepest concepts and spends time on them. Then there are practice tests immediately to apply the concepts. It is the right kind of learning for students like me. While I have enrolled for the class last minute, I was able to improve my Verbal scores to reach V34 on exam day. This was very satisfying , however I know that I have to work even harder for my next attempt and I have chosen to continue with e-gmat.

As a satisfied student of the e-GMAT Live Prep, I shall provide an extremely honest and unbiased review of the course.
Firstly, e-GMAT is one of the very few Test Prep companies to have an absolute command the GMAT content and curriculum. The course structure is extremely GMAT-specific, avoiding unnecessary emphasis on redundant topics not tested on the GMAT. Each concept is explained with absolute clarity with precise examples. Concept files are immediately followed by practice files to cement the understanding of concepts. The course tremendously focuses on concept clarity rather than grammar overdose. Concept and sample question explanations are precise and easy to understand. Additionally, e-GMAT empathizes on simple strategies and steps to approach each question type; most of the strategies are 3 to 5 steps rather than the confusing 7 to 10 steps approaches offered by other test prep companies.
Secondly, the learning framework is lucid, leaving students satisfied after every session. The course is meticulously designed to be highly user friendly, student spending hours on the course without having a feeling of overburden. Without going into every nitty gritty details of the course, I would say that e-GMAT is THE MOST user friendly course available, providing students with a plethora of options to navigate through the curriculum.
Thirdly, the instructors are champions in Verbal, possessing in-depth knowledge of each Verbal concept of SC, RC, and CR. Live Prep sessions are student-friendly and the instructors make it a point to address every query. Avoiding any pedagogue approach, Instructors teach in simple, lucid, and precise manner. The focus the live sessions is to cement concept nuances and discuss advanced concepts, concepts that would differentiate between V35 and V42/45. Advanced concepts are clearly explained with simple examples in Live Prep sessions.
Lastly, the support team at e-GMAT is extremely cordial and understanding. All issues are quickly resolved within 24 hours. I believe e-GMAT’s core value puts students’ priority at its focus, something that is strongly reflected in the e-GMAT support team.
e-GMAT Verbal Live Prep is a must for every non-native English speaker. I highly recommend the course to all prospective GMAT test takers. I would sincerely thank the entire team of e-GMAT for shaping the test preparation of millions of GMAT test takers like me.
I will try to keep it really short and crisp. I came to know about e-GMAT from the online forums and after going through the reviews leave no room for doubt. Just attend any free webinar by e-GMAT and you will know what I am talking about. The crux of e-GMAT teaching methodology is that there is no shortcut and one cannot get away with a high score without paying attention to the details. GMAT is an exam of logic and just the concepts are not going to help anyone through to a high score. It's the application of those concepts that is tested and e-GMAT courses are really well designed for that.
The course contents covers all there is to know about the questions asked in the GMAT and the correct way to handle them. The content files stresses a lot on following the process irrespective of the difficulty of the question.
I have attempted GMAT once and did not score well on the GMAt and the only reason for that is not the conceptual gap but the application gap.
There are many courses or free material available on the internet for GMAT but having the concepts presented in the right and concise manner is what makes the difference. With the regular live sessions, really helpful faculty and continuous content upgrades the course is only going to get better with time.
I secured a GMAT score of 670(q51,v28). I'm retaking the exam to get a better verbal score. My experience with the Quant course of EGMAT has been amazing and it helped me a lot to achieve my dream score of Q51. I have been poor at Verbal but the course has given me great hope as the topics were so keenly discussed, followed by practice tests. The course helps you understand the topics and Scholaranium is a beautiful portal where you can practice and excel the topics you've learnt. The feedback response for the doubts you've got is pretty quick from the EGMAT management which helps you clearly understand where the things went south. I have an amazing experience using both verbal and quant live prep courses.
The quant live prep course offered by e gmat is amazing as far as your prep for the GMAT is concerned. This course is divided into several modules and each and every module presents the detailed explanation of the concepts right from the beginners level to the advance level. The concepts are presented in very effective manner and further transform your preparation into an exciting journey.
The Scholaranium itself covers the wide pool of questions with detailed analysis that are must to do for the complete preparation of the GMAT.
Explanation offered against each question is quite an effective one.
Overall I would highly recommend this course to any aspirant.
