Stellar Coach

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

I worked with Jenifer on my application for 2 schools.

She's a world-class coach, deeply knowleadgable about the ins and outs of the MBA application process.

Engaging with Jenifer is not about “just applying for an MBA”, but the best way to reflect on who you are, why you’re here, and what good you want to do in the world.

She is a compassionate and caring person, and working with her was transformative in many ways.

At a time when every consultant discouraged me, Jenifer took the bet and was there throughout the process to help me reflect, craft, and sharpen my story.

In the end, I was accepted at H / W ($) and Booth.

If you can, I highly recommend to work with Jenifer during your MBA application journey.

BEst coach/mentor/consultant!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

Emma has been an incredible mentor and coach over the duration of my applications. We went through multiple iterations of the essays, and she was always incredibly involved. The edits could be as big picture as how the storyline could be enhanced and what parts of my experience could enrich the draft or as detail-oriented as missing commas. I started the process a little late, so it was incredibly helpful to have Emma be super prompt in her edits, sometimes reverting in just a couple hours.

Beyond the essays, Emma also helped me prepare for the interviews. Working with her throughout a couple applications gave her a sense of my personality beyond my CV, and she motivated me to bring that out in conversations. While her guidance helped me convert 2 M7 schools (with scholarships from both schools), she also analysed my experiences and preferences to continue guiding me, choosing the school and giving inputs on post-MBA career choices.

Throughout the process, she was incredibly encouraging, which really helped me keep going, and structured, which allowed me to get things done. I'd decided to work with Emma because a friend recommended I do so, and I couldn't have been happier with the outcomes. She wasn't a consultant but a true coach.

Heidi is amazing!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

Heidi is amazing. I did a lot of research/free calls with admission consultants before Heidi was gracious enough to take me on as a client even through I was a late-starter in the application process. Heidi worked with me to accelerate my preparation. She helped me brainstorm ideas around how I should build my story that would resonate better with the schools where I applied. She also provided me with candid and constructive feedback on my resume, many essays, and other parts of the application. Although we were on completely different timezones, she was available whenever I needed help or wanted to schedule a call outside of her working hours. I believe Heidi played a big part of my acceptance to one of HSW.

Look no further!

Emma turned a 2.8 GPA, 311 GRE, 32-year-old into a top 10 MBA admit. Need I say more?!

After 6 different fit calls with various advisors (see obstacles above), I could not have made a better decision on who to partner with through the application journey than Emma. She was everything you could want in an advisor: immediately responsive; exhaustively thorough; intrinsically thoughtful; and inherently compassionate (and not to mention an excellent editor, interview-prepper, and seemingly omniscient on MBA programs and their respective nuances).

I paid for a consultant to improve my chances of admissions but received a therapist, life coach, and MBA advisor all in one that helped me successfully navigate the dark and stormy sea that is the MBA application process.

I would typically recommend to everyone that they do extensive research to find the best possible advisor but save yourself the time - you already found her.

There is NO better Advisor. Emma Bond is 11/10

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

I spent a significant amount of time researching and speaking to several MBA advisors before deciding to go with Emma. My interactions with most advisors were very transactional, and many told me I was unrealistic in applying to a Top 10 MBA programme, given my profile. Emma (and Fortuna) was the complete opposite. Emma managed to strike a perfect balance between being human, empathetic (and funny), highly professional, efficient, and incredibly knowledgeable. Most prospective students, including myself, found the application process quite overwhelming and time-consuming, as well as a full-time job, but Emma was incredible at putting my mind at ease with the whole process.

The result was that I got into the Top 10 school/programme of my choice and received a significant scholarship, all as a Round 3 applicant; it is safe to say that she was monumental in getting me across the line. Emma was incredible to work with and I cannot recommend her more highly!!!

I am thrilled to share my exceptional experience working with Bill during my MBA application process. Thanks to his guidance and support, I was accepted into every MBA program I applied to.

From the very beginning, Bill demonstrated a deep understanding of the intricacies of the MBA admissions process. He took the time to get to know me, my strengths, and my career aspirations, which allowed him to provide personalized advice that truly resonated with my goals. His expertise in crafting compelling narratives for my essays was invaluable. Bill's insights helped me articulate my experiences and ambitions in a way that captured the attention of the admissions committees.

Bill's dedication went beyond just reviewing my applications. He offered strategic advice on selecting the right programs, preparing for interviews, and even navigating the decision-making process once the offers started coming in. His encouragement and constructive feedback kept me motivated and confident throughout what could have been a very stressful period.

What sets Bill apart is his genuine commitment to his clients' success. He was always available to answer my questions, no matter how trivial they seemed, and his positivity was infectious. Bill’s holistic approach not only strengthened my applications but also helped me grow personally and professionally.

I am immensely grateful to Bill for his unwavering support and expertise. His contributions were instrumental in achieving my MBA dreams, and I wholeheartedly recommend his services to anyone looking to succeed in their MBA journey.

Just Amazing! Best Of The Best Anyone Could Ask For!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by gmat club tests [?]

I reached out to Heidi Hillis for HBS, Stanford, and MIT applications, which I knew was a tall ask coming for an overrepresented candidate like me. My experience with Heidi over the last 6months was nothing short of excellent. Her expertise in understanding my profile and listing out strengths to highlight and weaknesses to address set the ball rolling. Particularly, her ability to take everything from my long journey and help me build an effective narrative was astounding. Her guidance helped me focus my energy on things that matter and cut through the clutter of information available online.

On top of all things, her deep insights into all the schools especially GSB and HBS, and their values proved to be very valuable in working through the long and challenging application where every single word makes a lot of difference. On a personal level, she was very flexible and always available to help me out when I was stuck at any point by getting on a call and over email.

Finally, on the decision date, got admits from HBS and GSB, and I cannot even begin to express my gratitude towards Heidi and Fortuna for helping this dream become a reality.

Thank you, Heidi and Karen, again for your guidance and partnership this past year!

From the moment I had the initial consultation with Karen, I felt confident that with her, I would achieve my goals. Karen's guidance extended far beyond my MBA application. She understood my thoughts even before I voiced them and encompassed a holistic view of my career and life goals. Karen masterfully shaped my MBA application, transforming the journey into an extraordinary experience from day one. She devoted countless hours to helping me clarify my goals and motivations for pursuing an MBA, even before we tackled the application itself. Karen's deep understanding of the intricacies of MBA admissions significantly strengthened my application. She mentored me on how to reflect on my experiences and helped me connect the dots, planning my journey ahead. After receiving admission from three top schools, she was instrumental in helping me make my final decision. Even now, almost a year later, she continues to support me as I prepare for school.

I wholeheartedly recommend Karen to anyone navigating the MBA admissions process. Her dedication, expertise, and commitment to bringing out the best in me deepened my understanding of my journey and aspirations. Karen is truly amazing, I am grateful for the opportunity to work with her, and I am confident she will continue to be a vital part of my journey ahead.

Admitted to INSEAD

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

Highly recommend! I was admitted into INSEAD in R2 for the 25J batch. Melissa was very helpful speeding my process along since I had started my process a bit late for INSEAD. She made sure we both were on top of our task lists and that we were making up for lost time. She also ensured that both her and my admission officers understood who I am as a professional and as an individual. She provided constructive feedback when I was preparing for interviews. I'd suggest her to any student that is struggles to write about themselves like I do as she did a great job in expressing my thoughts into a vision.

Best Investment I Ever Made

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Coming from a non-traditional background of physical therapy, the majority of the MBA application process was foreign to me. It was like trying to learn another language. I knew I needed help from someone who was not only spoke the language of the business world, but had experience with admissions committees, what they would be looking for, and how to best sell myself to them. Sharon was the best interpreter I could have ever asked for. From our first consult call, I immediately connected with her calm and confident personality. She was kind, patient, and compassionate while also holding me accountable and pushing me to take advantage of every opportunity. She walked me through career research to figure out what my goals were. We narrowed down the list of schools I would apply to based on those goals, my preferences, and culture fit. She helped me package and brand my stories and background in a way that would translate best to the business world. I’ve never been someone who wrote multiple drafts of every essay, but Sharon helped me see the importance of using every word count available to better frame and craft my application. She pushed me to reach for schools and scholarships I wouldn’t have thought I could consider. The results? I got into 6 of the 7 schools I applied to with multiple scholarship offers, including a full ride to the school best matched for me and my goals. Sharon was just as excited I was for each acceptance and even helped me talk through my final decision making process. When I started on this path to pivot my career, I was worried it was a long shot that wouldn’t make sense to anyone else. Sharon not only validated my choice, but showed me step by step how feasible it was. She didn’t change anything about the me or the base facts of my application. She took my background and my stories, and she helped be re-package them in a way that highlighted what the admissions committees would respond best to while still being authentically me. I wouldn’t be where I am without Sharon, and I cannot recommend her highly enough.
