When I decided to go to war with the GMAT, I was overwhelmed with the multitude of study options available to me. With so much material to cover, I kept bouncing from one topic to the next without any clear study path. I decided I needed a program that would provide the direction I so desperately needed and TTP turned out to be exactly what I was looking for.

By following the TTP course, I developed a strong understanding of the material the GMAT tests and learned a number of test taking strategies that allowed me to efficiently work through test questions. I really appreciated the way the course was structured to teach you new material, test you, and then follow up on that material at various points throughout the course to cement the knowledge.

Anyone looking to get the most out of their studies, I highly recommend the TTP course!

I was introduced to TTP through reddit. I had read a lot of rave reviews so I decided to try out its free trial version. I loved its structured approach to teaching and therefore ended up buying the one month flexible plan.
I was really impressed with the way they have dealt with every little detail for Quant as well as Verbal sections with really helpful tips and tricks to save time as well. The option to chat with one of the experts regarding any queries one might have during the study is another great feature.
I think this course is ideal for someone who is aiming for a 700+ GMAT score. I would definitly recommend this course!

Meaning based approach is the Key!!

I started my prep at V31, and I struggled with Sentence Correction a lot. The meaning-based approach to Sentence Correction has really changed the game for me. I improved to a V41 and more importantly 98th Percentile in Sentence Correction. The mentorship that I got from experts is the best part. My mentor assessed my performance and gave me personalized insights. When my scores plateaued and I was wondering where to look, the advice from the mentor really helped. She even gave me last-minute tips and resources! I connected with Piyush post my attempt and he gave me a clear game plan after looking at my ESRs. I will be taking another shot at GMAT. I will keep you guys posted on the outcome! Hoping to reach 750. :)

If you are looking for a GMAT course that has it all, Don't look beyond GMATWhiz! I had my reservations while I was signing up but after going through their course, interacting with mentors, and looking at the outcome, I'm 100% confident to recommend this to anyone looking for the best scores on their GMAT!!

A very solid verbal course by GMATWhiz

Initially I was using free resources and various question banks in order to prepare by myself for the GMAT. Since I am a working professional, I never felt tutoring the right way to go in order to keep a flexible schedule. When I hit a hard plateau at 690 with a V35 (inspite of solving most OG, Verbal, and Manhattan problems), I started searching for alternative approaches when I came across GMATWhiz course through Piyush's webinar on verbal.

With hardly 10 days to the next GMAT exam, I must say that GMATWhiz Verbal Course completely changed my approach to solving problems. Their video lessons for verbal are tooo good! They have really drilled into concepts and put the effort to identify the subtle pain points that students would face while solving. I was surprised when some of my issues (which I used to dismissing as reading error or inconsequential ones) were literally explained to the point in the video.

Right from their first verbal video, I understood that buying the verbal course along with Sunita ma'am's 1-1 sessions was an incredible decision. I finally scored a 710 (Q49, V38) which is huge, considering the plateau I was stuck at and the constricted timeframe available before the GMAT.

I used TTP after more than 1.5 year of studies for GMAT. I had a 630 (49Q/27V) score on my first try of the official exam. I used the platform for about 1.5 month and took a new GMAT exam, got a 660 (48Q/33V). Used it for 2 weeks more and took a new GMAT 730 (49Q/41V). I consider I could already have a 700+ score when I took 660, but I wasn't relaxed enough, when I could manage it, I got a good score.

I think TTP was essencial in my Verbal studies because I had studied a lot before, but many basic concepts weren't well understood by me. I had to be smart using TTP, since their content is very extensive and I had just a short time, but skipping some subjects and going directly to the ones I really didn't know, worked very well for me. I consider the best resource of theoretical content for Verbal I used. Besides, the structure of content -> basic questions (that are not in the same format of GMAT) -> simulation questions (same format of GMAT) was awesome for me!

E-GMAT Review

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Improvement 40 Points

Course e-GMAT Online 360

Location Online

I chose E-GMAT primarily due to it's proven ability to improve verbal ability as I had many read many other reviews. In my previous attempt my weakest section was SC, however the master-comprehension and process skill approach employed in E-GMAT really helps eliminate any uncertainty. I felt that the first step of always understanding the overall message and identifying key elements helped across all three sections of Verbal.

My RC strategy also changed after using E-GMAT were one thorough read of the passage was enough to answer all subsequent questions except in the case of questions with respect to specific details which at times required revisiting the passage. The focus on understanding each element of the passage plays a big role in critical reasoning. There are many traps in CR that will be missed if you rush through without understanding the overall message as a single word can make a huge difference.

I found the E-GMAT quant course to be adequate and found some of the problems utilized to be extremely long and cumbersome. Such questions in my opinion are rarely tested in the exam and it throws off your time management abilities. However, there is a lot of depth in the concepts that are taught but if the questions could resemble more of GMAT -style questions it would be much better.

Overall E-GMAT has a great verbal course and provides support throughout the preparation process with the help of the strategy experts.

I was studying for GMAT through GMAT club but I was lacking confidence in many sections of verbal and some parts of quant.
Then I found about GMAT WHIZ while watching one of the rc solving strategy session on YouTube.
I searched more about it and it's ai based module fascinated me a lot.
I joined the 4 month program in May and the structure was so smooth that it just guided me when and what to do.
It highlighted the sections in which I need to focus more and concept booster questions helped to in solidifying my concepts.
Mocks provided were totally upto GMAT standard and ESR analysis helped me in identifying my weak points.
Tracking of studying hours on daily and weekly basis with AI helped me a lot as it gets very difficult to monitor your progress along with a hectic job schedule.
The mentor provided to me helped me in identifying the loop holes and helped me in all possible ways to increase my score.
The quality of both verbal and quant section is top notch and it completes all sections in an efficient manner.
The course structure helped me to increase my score by 80 points from my initial mock score. It developed the confidence in me which I was lacking the most in beginning.
With the exceptional course structure and guidence, I was able to get 660 in my first attempt. I could have gotten more if quant section which was my stronger part did not went bad that day.
Since I have a strong work profile, this was a good score for me and helped me in getting considered in some of the best colleges across European countries.
One can totally trust GMAT WHIZ platform for cracking GMAT and GMAT WHIZ can surely help you get your dream 700+ score.

Instructor Harry Duthie

Location Online

TLDR: Harry Duthie is an absolute legend who helped me achieve a 750 after I couldn't break 690 using TTP and a test prep course. GMAT Ninja isn't cheap, but the attention and skill of these folks makes it 100% worth it. If I could do it all over again, I would have engaged Harry much earlier in the study process.

My GMAT study journey began with Target Test Prep after scoring a 650 on my first cold mock. While TTP is an incredible content review, I found myself quickly overwhelmed with the sheer quantity of content & questions, and feeling entirely on my own when stuck on questions / concepts. This led me to enrolling in a group course (Test Crackers). While the course helped with test strategy and had office hours, the incredible amount of time spent in classes and doing problem sets left me feeling burnout and was often untargeted. Also, by the end of the course it became clear to me that most group classes are focused on getting people to the 600s, but test company courses’ overreliance on sometimes gimmicky strategies and focus on teaching towards the average won't reliably yield a 700+ score.

After spending 100+ hours on TTP and Test Crackers, I took my second official mock and received a 710 (V42, Q45). Seemed fantastic until I took my third mock official mock and received a 640 (V41, Q36). With only two weeks before my first scheduled official exam I reached out to GMAT Ninja.

Within the first reply it was clear to me I was going to be working with experts who truly cared about maximizing the performance of their students. Charles took the time to go through my mocks (free of charge) and identified timing issues & concept gaps and gave me an extremely honest and accurate assessment of the time and work it'd require to achieve my goal score.

I went on to work with Harry who is an absolute gem of a person. He took the time during our first session to holistically understand what was holding me back (i.e. time management and content gaps). We went on to work together for ~10 sessions during which we'd review concepts, work through problem areas together, and discuss timing strategy. GMAT Ninja even has proprietary question sets to help target weak spots without have to burn through OG questions.

What really stood out to me about Harry is that he clearly took significant time and thought before sessions to look through my error log from the homework and identify what concepts were holding me back. Therefore, our sessions together were always extremely targeted and efficient. Absolutely no gimmicks - he helps you fully understand the concepts and gives you tailored approaches to question types that trip you up. Harry is also incredibly honest - he will tell you when you need more work and will tell you when you're ready. By the end of our time working together Harry made it clear that he knew I was ready and that more tutoring wasn't going to benefit me despite my desire to keep going (he was right - I got a 750).

TTP helped me get my dream GMAT score!
The course is well laid out and as long as you follow it step by step, you'll have all the tools you need to get a high score.
The course contains a huge number of practice problems and review quizzes. Every quant and verbal concept tested in the GMAT is represented in the TTP course.
In the study material, the more difficult questions usually have a short video explanation, but the written answer explanations are also quite clear. This is true for both the verbal and quant sections and having good answer explanations for the verbal section is really useful.
You also have access to some neat analytics that helps identify weak areas, which is great to have in the weeks leading up to the real GMAT. The ‘Strategy’ section is a great help since the GMAT is not just about preparation, but also about execution.
The TTP course is heavy in material, more so than other courses I’ve seen, but if you dedicate the time, you are almost certain to get a high score!

Course e-GMAT Online Focused

I narrowed down on e-GMAT for my GMAT prep based on their fantastic reviews on GMAT club and having spoken to a few friends of mine who recommended it. I found the course very well structured. There is a well laid out path to get to a very good ability level in each section. I would say the course material (such as concept videos and quizzes) overall is very good, although it does take quite a bit of time to get through the whole course (that being said, there are ways to actually personalise the course material at various points based on your current abilities, which I thought was quite helpful).

The course feature that I was most impressed with is the Scholaranium. This is an extremely well designed platform which provides numerous questions within each section, along with amazing data analytics which, when used in the right way, can really help you improve your performance. The quality of the questions is really good. In my personal opinion, I felt that the difficulty level of many questions in the scholaranium is at par or sometimes even above the difficulty level on the actual exam. So I would suggest do not get disheartened if you don’t see yourself scoring very well on each test/quiz. Just trust the process and put in the effort consistently. The data analytics provided within the scholaranium platform is top notch! It goes into a great level of detail, so you can actually identify which specific area you are really faltering in and then work on that area. For me personally, these features really helped improve my abilities.

Overall, I am happy that I gave e-GMAT a shot and would happily suggest it to anyone who is starting their GMAT prep journey. The Verbal modules in particular are very good. Quant is also very good, although I used both e-GMAT and Target Test Prep (which has flexible one month plans) for my quant prep, so thanks to both of them! In the end, all I would say is that don’t just assume this course is a magic wand that will given you your target score (i.e. don’t assume just by completing the course material you can attain your target). A lot of it has to do with how diligent you are in tracking your progress, doing detailed (strategic) reviews of your errors and finding out where you went wrong, maintaining a detailed error log (I cannot stress the importance of this point just enough!), mastering time management and so on. The course will help you with almost all these aspects in one way or the other, but it is up to you how you make the best use of it.

Finally, thanks to the entire team behind e-GMAT (especially all the subject experts) for helping me get to my target score.

Dear nikhiljayaram,

Congratulations on your score of 720 with a Q49 and a V40! Not only you improved your Verbal score from 69th percentile to 90th percentile (V34 to V40), but also you improved your Quant score from 44th percentile to 73rd percentile (Q44 to Q49). These are commendable feats to achieve!

I have to compliment you on how well you stuck to your study schedule. You had the strategy in front of you, and you adhered to it exactly. By carrying out the necessary tasks in the right order, you effortlessly reached to your target score –

Image Link - https://success.e-gmat.com/nikhiljayaram-studyplan

Getting a 90th percentile in Verbal requires diligence and dedication to you study plan. You did not just limit yourself to give quizzes on Scholaranium, but you also used the data analytics to identify your areas of weakness and then worked upon them. The results of which can be seen below in the image reflecting your Scholaranium statistics in Verbal hard questions –

Image Link - https://success.e-gmat.com/nikhiljayaram-verbal-scholaranium-stats

It was just a matter of time that you saw the fruits of your diligence and good study habits in the actual exam, and I have all the faith in you that whatever you will approach every goal in your life with the same determination.

All the very best for the next steps!

Regards,
Akash
