Location is inside the University of Indonesia complex, somewhat hard to find. Horrible traffic in the morning and on the evening. There are parking spaces, but might hard to actually find one because you will be sharing those with the university students.

The staff was okay and polite.

Restroom is inside the building. They also have a drinking water dispenser and snack bars.

Noise level was great, the testing room was the furthest room in the building and since it is located in a university complex, not on the road, there was not much noise.

A/C was a bit cold for me, thankfully I brought a jacket.

This was my first test location. I actually scheduled my test in Surabaya but after hearing bad experiences from test takers there (internet shutting down in the middle of the test, etc) I decided to reschedule my test to Jakarta.

Very friendly staff. Absolutely no glitches. Very comfortable testing environment. All the Pc's were in good condition & Ac's maintained at perfect temperature.

The only issue is that its located in a very congested suburb area and travelling all the way to the test center takes a good 90-120 mins for people in the mainland. Unfortunately, thats the only place available to give the test in Mumbai. The place is full of traffic, so make sure you have sufficient time in hand.

Also, I reached the center 75 mins before the scheduled time. I had to wait outside for almost half an hour before I was allowed inside. So do not go too early.

I took my GMAT at Pearson VUE, Hyderabad India on March 26th 2012. Prior to the test I never gave a thought about how a test center could affect GMAT score. After all its only a test center. But I was proved wrong. Let me tell you how.

I was scheduled for the test at 9AM slot. I arrived at the test center(which is centrally located and has easy accessibility) well before 8:30AM. The staff at the center are very courteous and explained all rules to me. Also they have put few Lord Ganesha Idols on the welcome desk (to help those who seek some divine intervention :) ).

The test center is right next to the busy SP Road which is noisy due the traffic on the road. Though the building is acoustic and cuts down most of the noise, still some disturbance was there and that distracted me a lot. I requested for a pair of earplugs and the proctor was prompt in handing over that to me.

Overall the proctor was attentive and didn't waste any time whenever I raised my hand for any kind of assistance. Hence full marks to the staff present at the test center.

The only problem which affected me most was a technical glitch, which was definitely out of the staff's scope. The test started with a 40 minutes delay and this delay pumped up my blood pressure and a fear of rescheduling the test was looming. Hence in the end when the test started I was a bit high on the adrenaline.

Overall the test center was comfortable with clearly marked seats, deposit lockers, clean restrooms and drinking water facility. But don't forget to carry an jacket with you since the AC is very cold over there and it all depends on the comfort level of all other test takers.

Hence I would rate the test center as follows:
1-best .... 5-worst

Location: 1
Connectivity to the test center: 1
Ambiance:1
noise level:3
seating arrangement:1
A/C:3
restrooms:2
misc facilities: 2
Staff at the test center: 1

The test center is located not far from a railroad station. Though it is a 20 minutes walk, talking a taxi should be better. It is easy to locate.

The test center itself is quite a small office, with some chairs and lockers to store your personal belongings. The restrooms are located outside the test center "office", a 10 meters walk.

The workers of the test center are pleasant and nice, and the identification process was fast and easy. The test room was quiet and chairs were comfortable.
The computer station was somewhat "packed" - the computer case is located on the table. horizontally, and the monitor is located on top of it. If you wish to move the keyboard aside, you have to position it in an uncomfortable way which takes from the space available to place your pens and papers.

As there are no other test centers in Israel, there isn't much choice.

Parking facility : Test center conveniently located and was easy to find and if you are lost ask for "Jetking" center and everyone around that knows it.

There is more than enough space for the parking at this center.

Invigilator Reviews : Invigilator was polite and even gave me 2 pens to me though I haven't asked for it. You can even change the pens and your rough sheets at the time of break.

Environment : There are only 4 systems to work on so there is not much noise. It was quite. Yes, room was quite cold so asked to switch off the AC before entering the room.

Why would you retake the test here or in another location?
Yes, I took the test here twice!!

Do before test starting -- Please see the washroom before starting the test as it is located above test center and you have to go to another building next to it. So see the wash room before startng the test so as you don't waste the time.

Parking facility : Big problem No parking facility on site. I had to park my car in a nearby hotel
Invigilator Reviews : Very Helpful,Polite.
Environment : Quiet.
Rating 5/5 : 4/5 (cut one mark for parking problems)
Additional Info : There will be a Cabin to the side numbered 12 A. Request for another seat. The cabin has bright lights and it was difficult for me to view the already messed up font family of the GMAC testing software

Parking facility : Absent, but actually not needed - take a Vlib! ;)

Invigilator Reviews : Correct, nothing to mention

Environment : Some noise coming from the street, but earplugs (which are provided) do what is necessary

Additional Info : No earphones, so get ready to use earplugs (or how do you call it..), Small room containing 7-8 workstations, The workstations are Dell, but the screen is placed too high, that was a problem for me.

Do's & Don't s : Only one restroom, so the first thing you should do when you go for a break is to go to the toilet if it is empty.

Parking facility : N/A (walked)

Invigilator Reviews : Very nice and accommodating. Helpful. Quick.

Environment : Testing center itself was not bad, fairly quiet, no real complaints. A bunch of construction on the lobby level of the building made it a pain to get into the building, but ended up not being a real problem.

Additional Info : Construction on lobby level. Have to walk around to the south entrance and buzz in (at least I did -- it was a Saturday).

Do's & Don't s : Do: kill the exam. Don't: freak out, it's just a test.

Invigilator Reviews : Polite, efficient
Environment : O.K types , there were 4 systems, A little noise disturbance was there , but one may use the earplugs
Additional Info :Center is located in the basement, no washroom in the center, have to go upstairs and into next building to use a very small , dirty toilet ; I took a shawl but wasnt allowed to take it inside, though, the temperature was fine and they offered to switch off the AC in case I felt cold
Do's & Don't s : Just see the washroom once before starting the test so that u dont waste time finding it in brake

Parking facility : Not present. Would be expensive as the location is CBD
Invigilator Reviews : They could be more helpful before the test starts. o waiting area. Had to wait outside center for around 20 minutes with no chairs
Environment : Ok. You can hear keyboard noise of other test takers
Rating 5/5 : 3.5
Additional Info : Toilets are close by, not sure about the smoking area as I do not smoke.
Debrief Link : my-gmat-experience-98021.html
Do's & Don't s : Be on time. Not before not later. Don't bring red bulls, anything to eat, the time for optional breaks would only allow you to go for toilet and may be sip some water. Also note that they DO NOT provide water. You need to take one.
