Oh My god can I give zero ? , how can companies hire such incompetent system providers, such a shame and such a mental strain on the exam takers , I am just wondering how these kind of companies survive. Probably no one else in market to take on their might, but they forget every great but arrogant ultimately fall. I wish they do. I have to now write another 30 odd words just because gmat does not believe you can give a negative review in less than 10”
Words , everyone is on Kahoot! And I am
Still typing because i am
Short of 11 words but the incompetency of Pearson will not be challenged because someone is getting a big kick back from them. Hope it’s 100 words

i have successfully checked in but could not able to start the exam due to technical fault. I have reach to customercare raised a case but still waiting for the time frame to get the reply. I would request GMAC to be fast to act as other processes are also in line.
Such technical issue are not fault of test taker. please make sure of the computer that the test go flawlessly without any hitch.
such issue are very frustrating who is preparing very hard for the test with expectation. I would request GMAC to have a proper mechanism for the grievance handling . Many have some plan with the exam score. please be fast on deciding.

The new horizon test center has a good setup and supporting staff. however, improving toiletry maintenance is necessary. I have noticed that many test applicants for GMAT miss bringing their passports which is mandatory as this centre doesn't accept individual ID like the Emirates ID.
Also, make sure you be available in min 20 min before test timing to process your admission and verification and to stessdown yourself before taking the exam.
For non Dubai residents, make sure to have enough coins for parking booking and book the same for a min of 4 hours to prevent taking parking fines.
Thank You.

It was ok...

I felt the staff were a bit rude, like they were taking the little bit of power they have been given too far.

I also found the palm vein scan a little bit big brother-ish. I appreciate it is to stop people cheating, but it still felt a bit weird.

As for the actual test.....for the all the rules and strictness of it all, they seemed surprisingly lax about people making noise during the test. The actual testing room was not sound proof to noise outside, and the invigilator outside seemed to be having a friendly conversation with someone, which could be heard in full inside the testing room.

Also, I put my hand up for extra scratch paper a couple of times, and no one came.

Regarding the staff and welcoming it was professional and excellent. They politely asked us to follow the measurement rules due to corona virus and to sit down while they check us in.
We are properly given all the instructions for the test and what we can do or what we cannot do. The reason why my rating is a little bit lower, was due to small space in the exam room , and noises from outside from which I had hard time focusing on, and because the room was small, I could hear other test takers coming in and out which was a little bit distracting, also there was a malfunctioning of caps lock, so I lost a little bit of timing when writing essay. Overall it was what I expected for what I was paying for. Suitable room, equipment, toilet with refreshments, and space room for your breaks.

I started preparing for my GMAT exam on 2nd June '20. I bought GMAT OG and downloaded last year's Verbal and Quant Review. Being an engineering student, quant appeared quite simple to me. I completed the PS and DS questions of OG within 2 days and took another 3 days to complete the Quant Review from GMAC. I was always weak in verbal so I decided 2 day each for each of the 3 topics, which consumed 1 week's time, leaving me with 3 weeks for my GMAT exam. I proceeded with GMAC Verbal Review and took another week to finish it and learn/revise important concepts. The second last week was spent studying IR and viewing some videos and courses on Udemy and Magoosh. Magoosh Idioms guide was a blessing in disguise. I spent the last week revising the concepts and took rest for 2 days before the big day.

Finally the day arrived, I was pretty chill as I had no particular expectations in mind. PS: Hadn't given any practise tests as I was afraid to score low. Fast-forwarding to the exam slot, the moderator was quite chill and overall the process was smooth. Quant appeared easy to me as I breezed through the questions and finished the section within half an hour. The change of moderators was somewhat difficult as the new moderator kept pinging if everything was okay and my concentration broke on some verbal questions. After all, I scored a 710 (q51 v34).

I took my first GMAT test last year at the pearson test center in West Fargo. Pretty cool experience, but I was taking the test without prior studying which made it extremely hard for me.

They were really good about providing a good testing environment for test takers. I was provided noise cancelling headphones so when people left for their breaks I was undisturbed. The staff were super awesome, and I recommend testing here if you are in the area!

I probably not test here again though as I am living in a different country now. I did not get the GMAT score that I was lookign for, but I am just starting to study now and hope to get 700+!

I took my GMAT early May 2020 at a Pearson VUE center in the DFW, TX area. A couple days prior to the exam I checked the location information to plan out my travels. I had a general idea of where it was located but wanted a better idea. I saw on Google that the center was listed as "CLOSED" which was surprising to me, as it was already difficult enough to secure an exam date/time at an in-person location. Calling the location's listed phone number only met me with the answering machine; but after a few tries throughout the day I finally got through and was confirmed of my appointment.

The Pearson Vue office is nestled within the building. The decor of the building itself was quite tasteful with plenty of open space and natural lighting, as well as contemporary furnishing. Upon arriving to the entrance of the office, I was immediately directed to wash my hands at the restroom around the corner before entering.

All employees wore masks, and did a great job of sanitizing and minimizing contact. However I was surprised at how long the wipe-downs would take, and I lost about 1 minute from my exam time following my break due to the amount of time they took to sanitize myself prior to re-entering the exam room.

I had heard negative anecdotal feedback of this location, but had a completely different experience. They exam proctor was very friendly, and helped me take a few deep breaths prior to entering the exam room for the first time. As a result, I would highly recommend based on my experience; but in general would suggest anyone taking the exam in-person during COVID to consider cleaning measures when it comes to timing.

It was an unpleasant experience. Even the first attempt followed by about 3 months study got merely in vain because of just the marker which was provided in the exam hall. The Pearson 'Lal Bagh' centre is located in the heart of the city. So reaching there was not at all an issue. the exam room was well air-conditioned, the locker was provided, the room was also quite calm. So, there were issues related to the exam hall. But, severe problem arised when i was given the marker.
First of all, the writing board was slippery due to repeated writings. They should have ensured that the writing board is upto the mark which they did not see as their priority. Appearing for the first time, I was not aware of such things. And then comes the mighty marker which would stop working after 20 seconds of inactivity. This time might be the time taken to read the stub of CR or passage of RC.
Then, I complained about the marker to the invigilators. They replaced the marker twice that also did not work as the previous marker. This was too unfortunate as well as unbearable.
So, while choosing the markers, be extra careful and check whether the marker is working properly or not.
Also, use the headphones only if it is suitable for you. I didn't use it because it was so tight.

It is quite reachable from the city center of Stockholm with red line metro. It is in the 6th floor of the building and there are many computers.
The staffs are very professional there. I have no problem with the computer, everything went smoothly.
There are some candies, coffee and tea, also water available for you. There are 2 toilet rooms but people are not having the break at the same time so its ok
There is no headphone to block the noise and when you raise your hand, the test conductor is quite slow reaching you when you need assistance.
But in general, everything is OK and I would recommend it to everyone
