Communication, but it still was really strong.

Every step of the process was clearly guided, organized, and thoughtful, which made what could have been an overwhelming experience feel manageable and structured. Scott provided valuable insight, honest feedback, and constant support throughout, always making himself available when needed. His team was equally responsive and detail-oriented, ensuring nothing slipped through the cracks. Strengths:

Personal, detail-oriented, and tailored.

Would make the product better:

NOTHING!

My outcomes were incredibly successful - I was accepted by seven of the eight schools I applied to. I am extremely confident that much of this success was a direct result of my investment in Personal MBA Coach. From start to finish, the guidance I received was thoughtful, strategic, and truly personalized.

Erin was supportive, creative, and deeply invested in my success throughout the entire process. Her attention to detail was exceptional, especially when helping me craft an authentic and compelling narrative that clearly communicated my goals and resonated with admissions committees. She knew how to push my thinking while staying true to my voice, which made a huge difference in the final product!

In addition, the interview preparation support was incredibly robust and impressive, leaving me feeling confident and well prepared for every conversation. Personal MBA Coach is absolutely worth every penny, and I would recommend it without hesitation!!

Highly Recommend — Outstanding Experience

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by waiver or admit report [?]

Strengths:

Personal MBA Coach’s biggest strengths are their deep expertise, exceptionally streamlined systems, and hands-on mentorship. They bring clarity and structure to an otherwise confusing process, eliminate wasted effort, and significantly reduce stress. Their guidance is thoughtful, strategic, and outcome-driven from start to finish.

Would make the product better:

I wouldn’t recommend any changes to Scott or the Personal MBA Coach team. If anything, my advice is for prospective applicants: start early. The process is deep and thoughtful, and it takes months to do it right. Signing up well in advance of your deadlines will significantly reduce stress and allow you to get the most value from the coaching. There’s truly no such thing as starting too early.

I can’t recommend Personal MBA Coach enough. Scott and his team were incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and supportive throughout the entire business school application process.

What really stood out was how streamlined and well-organized their systems and processes are. It feels like a finely tuned machine—no wasted effort, no confusion, just clear guidance at every step. They dramatically reduced the stress and uncertainty that normally comes with applying to top business schools.

The mentorship was invaluable. From strategy to execution, they made a complex and overwhelming process feel manageable and even enjoyable. I genuinely believe I would not have been admitted to my number one business school choice without their guidance and support.

If you’re serious about business school and want clarity, structure, and expert mentorship, Personal MBA Coach is absolutely worth it. I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone considering an MBA or executive program.

From Getting Rejected By All Schools To Cracking M7

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Last year, I was dinged from all the schools I had applied to. I had worked with a top Indian-based consulting firm, but after that experience, I honestly lost hope of getting into an M7. Being an Indian male with all my experience in e-commerce companies within India — and not from the typical consulting or finance background — I knew it was going to be tough. Still, I believed that working with a U.S.-based consultant could make a difference, especially in understanding my story and communicating it in a way that would connect with the schools.

That’s when I came across Scott through a mutual friend who had gotten into Wharton. My initial call with Scott was warm and gave me the confidence to go ahead and work with him. The process started with a detailed form to help him understand my background, followed by long, thoughtful calls to strategically shape my goals and story. For each school, we had multiple calls and email discussions that brought immense clarity to how I should approach every essay. He has utmost clarity on how to approach the content for each school and it is not one size fits all. He has a strong team of editors and interviewers that gave me huge confidence in this process.

I was also shared relevant sample essays from profiles similar to mine, which helped me get an idea of what works. There were several back-and-forth iterations with the editors to fine-tune my essays and by the end I honestly couldn’t believe it was my own story. The essays felt perfectly structured, authentic, and in complete harmony — which was lacking in my previous essays.

Beyond essays, I got help with my resume, short answers, video essay preparation and even the smallest application details for each school. It was a true end-to-end experience — from story formulation and positioning to content refinement and final submission. Compared to my earlier experience with the Indian firm, this was on a completely different level.

After receiving my interview invites, I was given a set of relevant questions and mock interviews with actual former interviewers from the respective schools. That really helped me prepare with confidence and clarity. Their feedback really helped me crack my 40 minute long interview at Kellogg with the admissions team.

Overall, Scott is someone who knows exactly how to position your story and strategy, bring out your best, and help you create powerful, authentic essays. And once you get an interview invite, you’ll be trained by people who’ve actually interviewed for those schools. I would highly recommend Scott to anyone seriously aiming for the M7.

Admission To Five M7 Schools (With Scholarships)!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

Strengths:

Detail, organization, necessary pressure

I highly recommend working with Scott and team!! From the very start, Scott helped me develop my personal narrative and set myself up for admissions success. He helped me realize the importance of being able to quantify and explain the impact of my extracurriculars and pushed me to achieve even more that would give me meaningful experience and continue to develop a well-rounded profile. As a procrastinator trying to juggle test prep, applications to many schools, and a hectic work schedule, Scott’s process and outline of deadlines was critical to making sure I had everything prepared in time. My essay editor from Scott’s team, Sybil, was an incredible thought partner in developing the stories I wanted to tell while making sure to protect my authentic voice and the messages I wanted to get across. I would not have reached the number of acceptances and scholarship I received without their support!

Strong ROI

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Strengths:

Scott and his team are perfectly prepared and tailored to meet your needs. I could never imagine having done this without them. I had numerous questions as I progressed through the process, including queries about how to answer drop-down menu selections in the actual applications. It was incredibly comforting to have professional guidance throughout.

Would make the product better:

Be clear with the team about your needs and request new tutors if it isn't immediately a good fit. At this price point, it's necessary to have all of your needs met, and they will get it done, but that requires that you communicate your needs.

Big picture: entering this journey, I didn't know where to apply. Now, I am confident that I put my best foot forward, submitting essays and test scores that I'm proud of, applied to great schools that were the right fit for me, and have gotten into most of them with multiple scholarship offers. While Personal MBA Coach is undoubtedly expensive, I have paid for this service four times over in merit scholarship from my top school with Scott's assistance. He told me early that this would be the case, and I didn't believe him. I had an unremarkable college GPA and come from a privileged enough background that I'd be ineligible for financial aid. My only advice is to start as early as you can!

Best Admissions Consultant

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Strengths:

- All the consultants on the team collaborate at least weekly
- Unlimited rounds of essay editing

Would make the product better:

None

I worked with Personal MBA Coach for my EMBA applications, and my experience was outstanding. Ade was my consultant, and she was exceptional throughout the entire process.

I was ultimately admitted to all four programs I applied to: Wharton, Kellogg, Booth, and Haas, which speaks to the effectiveness of their approach.

I come from a non-traditional background and initially struggled with how to tell my story in a clear, compelling way. I didn't know how to explain my story arc: self-employed, veteran, professional musician, nonprofit founder, and software engineer in big tech. Ade was incredibly thoughtful in helping me identify which experiences and stories to highlight (and which to leave out) for each school, ensuring that every essay was tailored to what that specific program values. The result was a cohesive but highly customized set of applications.

The essay development process was excellent. Personal MBA Coach offers unlimited rounds of editing, and the editors were consistently sharp, responsive, and detail oriented. They also provided strong support on short-answer questions, which are easy to underestimate but critically important.

Finally, the interview preparation was extremely helpful and left me feeling confident and well-prepared going into each interview.

I highly recommend Personal MBA Coach, and especially Ade, to anyone applying to top EMBA programs, particularly candidates with complex or unconventional backgrounds.

Consultants you can trust

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Strengths:

Experience, instincts, preparedness, professionalism, personalized touch, time spent on application

Would make the product better:

N/a

Scott and Personal MBA are the right choice. They know the admissions game, how to highlight your strengths as an applicant, reflect them in your essays and interview, and tell a cohesive story. But even more impressively, their strong instincts come through every time you speak with them (shoutout Andrew), which minimizes any worries and doubts you’d have applying to school on your own. Personal MBA helped me get into competitive dual MBA/MS programs at multiple M7s, and I could not be happier. I would recommended Scott and the team to any prospective student interested in pursuing an MBA or other higher graduate degree (as an engineering grad school applicant, they were also extremely helpful)

Wharton Admit with Scholarship

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

Strengths:

MJ was great!

Would make the product better:

I chatted with another consultant who helped connect me to an admitted student once I got in. I understand wanting to keep anonymity, but it would be great to have some sort of alumni network if people opt in.

I ended up working with MJ for my bschool applications a couple years ago, and she was excellent. I originally chose her because I hoped to get into Wharton (and she had specific expertise with Wharton), and she helped me get into 5 of my 7 schools (Wharton, Tuck, Booth, Kellogg, and Sloan) with ~400k combined scholarships and multiple Forte Fellowships.

When selecting an MBA consultant, consider what style of consulting you would prefer. MJ was great in helping me develop a cohesive story, brainstorming, and answering any question I had. Then my editor helped me make sure I was conveying these ideas well. I was also in touch with Scott at a higher level throughout the entire process. Overall with so many touchpoint, I felt like I had a community supporting me.

I've loved Wharton so far and am very happy with my decision to go with MJ from Personal MBA Coach!
