GMAT Mock 3 & 4 Review
Both mocks are solid benchmarks and give a good measure of the real GMAT, especially for Verbal (RC/CR/SC mix, timing pressure, and question logic).
The overall exam feel, fatigue, and pacing are close to the real thing, making them useful for test-day simulation.
Quant in Mock 3 & 4 is noticeably easier compared to the actual GMAT Focus Edition.
I scored significantly higher in QA than my real exam score, which created a gap in difficulty perception.
The mocks include more straightforward problem-solving and fewer trap-style or multi-step reasoning questions than the real test.
Real GMAT quant felt more layered, tighter on logic, and trickier under time pressure, especially in Data Insights + Algebra-heavy questions.
Good for:
Building stamina
Practicing time management
Verbal accuracy calibration
Be cautious for:
Overestimating Quant performance based on these scores
Center * Pearson VUE GMAT Test Center
Location Gurugram, India
My experience at this test center was disappointing and stressful. During the exam, multiple candidates were typing loudly, which made it hard to focus. More seriously, the internet disconnected midway through the test, interrupting the exam flow entirely. This forced me to lodge a complaint with GMAC to request a reattempt, which involved significant confusion and follow-ups. An exam of this importance requires a controlled, quiet environment and robust technical support, both of which were lacking. Given the pressure associated with standardized tests, such disruptions are unacceptable. I would strongly advise future test-takers to consider alternative centers to avoid unnecessary stress.
