Center * Pearson VUE GMAT Test Center
Location Hyderabad, India
Hello All,
I took up my GMAT around 2 and half months ago. I booked up my appointment at the only center at Hyderabad (available during that time of my test) and to my surprise the center representatives were so friendly and that really helped me calk down. I believe it is really necessary to calk down your nerves before you take up the GMAT. The scratch pad and the pen were working fine and i was instructed to not keep the pen cap open for a longer period of time.
Please let me know if you would like to know any other details of this test center and i will be happy to help.
Other facilities were just fine.
Thanks !
Hello Guys - I went over the gmat club tests and highly recommend the gmat takers to take advantage of the gmat quant tests. These quant tests are just incredible. The solutions provided by Bunuel and BB make me believe that even the toughest questions can be solved within 2 minutes if you apply the strategies in the right manner. Also, while solving these questions i realized that the 700+ questions need more tact than just maths. The more you solve these tact questions, the more you fall in love with quant. I don't think any other test prep company matches gmat club quant tests. Also, if you need additional practice on the verbal, please try out gmat verbal tests as well but do not worry about how much you score.
Scholaranium for Verbal is the ideal platform for GMAT practice. The questions are closest to the actual GMAT questions and the explanations are near perfect. The difficult questions have video explanations as well. This platform tells you the Ability score and Accuracy score, helping people to decide the path forward. This platform is without a doubt 5 star and the creators definitely deserves a pat on the back. One can only bank on Scholaranium questions apart from the Official Guide and GMAT Prep questions. This platform has given me ample confidence to pace my timing according to the situation. Go for it !
The level of difficulty of eGMAT Quant practice questions is good, higher than what you would expect in the GMAT exam.
However, the questions did help me prepare better because i always remained under the impression that i have a lot to improve. After solving such touch questions, solving OG questions actually became a cakewalk. However, the downside is that you might actually go low in confidence when you get too many such touch questions incorrect and your timing strategy might also go for a toss. You cannot solve such tough questions, using the timing strategy that you have in your mind.
Thanks !
Verbal Live Prep is one of the best tools available in the market for verbal preparation. Though, primarily it is designed for Non Native speakers but i believe it can be equally good even for the Native Speakers. GMAT is not a test of English but a test of reasoning. Verbal Live Prep course hits out in the very right directions. Neeti Sohal, in particular, was fabulastic with Critical Reasoning. I just loved the way she paced the course and was right on target for her entire sessions. For anyone looking for a good verbal score, I would highly recommend the verbal online or verbal live prep by eGMAT. 5/5 for the Verbal Live Prep :) and 5/5 for Neeti Sohal for her excellent teaching skills.
I purchased the course from Experts Global as i wanted to have a different angle to my gmat prep. Sentence Correction was really good and it helped me prepare for all the possible cases tested on gmat. However, i did not find critical reasoning explanations good enough. Reading comprehension was ok but i guess a lot depends upon the individual in case of Reading Comprehension. Having said that, the video explanations to the Sentence Correction questions are really good and worth watching. I will recommend the course to anyone who is looking for a different perspective to gmat prep. Coming to the test series provided by Experts Global, it is very good to get some practice and increase your stamina.
hello, i hope this message finds you in pink of health. could u please throw some light on the quietness n temperature of the center too. is it too cold? will i be allowed to carry a jacket and a handkerchief? my exam is day-after-tomorrow. do u have any other suggestions? thanks in advance.
Hi Nivie,
Hope you had a good test exp! Which one was your center? Mine was the one in Madhapur and it had multiple outages, the sanctity of exam was lost as outages kept on happening until the middle of verbal section! I have complained to GMAC but so far nothing in last 2 weeks. They are "investigating". I don't expect them to do anything favourable.
Next time I am going to take begumpet location, hope it goes smoothly once and for all!
Edu Kinect Madhapur center is not good. They don't provide a good environment to write test. You will frequently face outage, center people frequently walk in test room and talk loudly, monitor screens are outdated and blurred, lot of noise as locker is just opposite test room, scratch note is not clean and sketch pens are dried. So you would struggle to get a peaceful environment to concentrate and difficult to write while rough work. Better stay away from Edu Kinect Madaphur center.
