Let me start with how my approach was towards SC questions in GMAT. Whenever i read an SC question I would jump directly to the options and choose the one that sounded right. But later on i realized except for a few blatantly framed wrong sentences all the remaining options sounded right. This is where e-Gmat helped me. Little did I know that there was a technique behind solving SC questions. The technique of breaking down sentences to easily comprehend what the sentence meant was plain amazing. The technique is also useful in reading comprehension passages if at all there were any long sentences.The critical Reasoning section also deserves a special mention. The flow diagram used to understand how the premise is related to the conclusion is definitely an eye-opener.The content (SC,RC &CR) is represented in a pictorial format.With this strategy the learning is easier and enjoyable too. The whole team works amazingly together. They conduct seminars regularly . Simply put, as a non native english speaker the technique one learns in e-Gmat is very helpful not only for Gmat but also for life.

I took a mock test in GMAT Prep. I did decently well in the mock and scored around 650. However I knew I had to improve a lot to achieve a target score of more than 720. So i decided i should work on the areas I am weak at. Only at this point of time i realized the tool was helpful only to take mocks and not to analyse one's performance.
This is where Verbal Scholaranium was helpful. It has a lot of features that enables us to clearly analyse our performance.

This tool creates a very structured way of giving you questions to gauge one's ability. The questions are categorized into easy ,medium,hard and very hard questions. The expectations are that you complete the ability quiz in the recommended time irrespective of how hard the questions are. This helped me to improve my speed . A constant check on the time was a great help. The tool also displays the optimum time i should have spent on each question. This particular feature improved my accuracy without compromising on time.
