Sounds good! Good luck on the GMAT Preps! Make sure you don't do anything new on your real GMAT. Don't try any new approaches, timing, etc. That's a very bad idea that usually backfires :)

Wow, very nice practice test scores! I think you certainly have a shot at 730. If you have any official mocks left you could take one last practice exam. Aside from taking one last practice exam, do some light studying, such as doing focused practice and reviewing flash cards/notes from past topics to ensure that knowledge has not slipped through the cracks. Also, try to keep busy with activities other than GMAT prep: go out to dinner, go to the movies, binge-watch Netflix, go for a run … Do whatever you have to so you don’t spend days leading up to your exam worrying about how things will go.

Lastly, you may find it helpful to read this article with more advice on how to treat the final week leading up to your exam as well as some test day tips.

Keep up positive thoughts, try to relax, and crush the test!! Let me know how things turn out.

Hello All,

Took my exam today.
Score - 720 (Q48, V41, IR6)
Needless to say, I expected a little more. I screwed up in quant, because i attempted verbal 1st and encountered some tough questions. I thought I haven't performed well, and was worried while solving quant.

But the verbal score actually turned out to be good!

The universities I am targeting are - Michigan, UVA Darden, NYU Stern, Dartmouth tuck and NUS.

Do you think I stand a fair chance there? (Age- 26 Female from India, work ex- 5 years with corporate training and product development, GPA- 4)

Congrats. Sorry you fell for the newbie pitfall. Hard questions are good and worrying about your test is of no use.

Use the WAMC tool to evaluate your chances.

Good luck!
BB.

Hi dips1122,

First off, a 720/Q48 is an outstanding Score, so you can comfortably apply to any Business Schools that interest you. Since you've named some highly-competitive Schools, you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile and plans. There's a Forum full of those Experts here:
