Congratulations for an awesome score. I am not an expert but my 2 cents is that you don't need to retake it. I am still studying and will take your score as is right now and run with it :-).

Best wishes!

Hey All,

Yesterday I took the test and got 730 (Q51, V37) but somehow performed badly in IR getting a score of 3. In my previous attempts, I have scored 8 and 5 on IR. Do you think I need to take the test again? Need suggestions

Hi vipashyana,

Congrats on the 730!

So, you are certainly in an interesting spot. Quite possibly, your low IR score may not have any impact on your application. However, to rid your application of any potential blemishes, you could attempt another GMAT to improve your IR score. Knowing the score breakdowns of your official practice exams would be helpful for determining whether it makes sense for you to go down that path. Furthermore, you should also reach out to some consultants on GMAT Club to see what they have to say.

Feel free to reach out with further questions.
