I want to know if I should take the GMAT test before 2nd Jan and apply to the Bschools or should I wait for the next year.
I know that I will be able to score 650+ in the exam. I have not taken any official test yet. Avg Mock test my score is 710.
I also not sure how to start the application process. And how to provide my GMAT score to schools.

If you believe you have a decent profile and can get a good GMAT score, I don't see any reason to wait another year.

With a week left to R2 deadlines, it’s too limited time to prepare a strong case if you are aiming for some of the top B schools as the competition would be fierce in this round. If and only if you think you can put together a good story and get LORs, there’s no harm in taking the test and applying but I would still advise to apply to schools which have later R2 deadlines to give yourself enough time to cook some good essays.
If these are not the schools you vibe with and if you are in no hurry to get an MBA, I don’t see any harm to wait till R1 which can give you decent time to strengthen other parts of your application if you wish to.
