I gave GMAT recently and got a 590..I feel I can improve to 650 perhaps with another 30 to 40 days of preparation.
R2 closes on 15/1/20. Should I apply before 15th with a 590 or should I improve my score and apply in R3 ?
My apprehension is it will get more competitive as we go into R3.

Hi Kjohri,

Alberta school of business has rolling admissions as per my knowledge. Having said that, applying early wouldn’t give you a better chance at securing an admit if other applicants applying alongside you have significantly better profiles.

In my experience, an applicant with less competitive entrance score can still get admitted if they work on making a stronger profile, which includes your essays and extra curricular engagements.

As per our past experience, it means that you should be receiving the official admission letter from FGSR in a few weeks. It is believed that FGSR generally checks the documentation provided with the application and decides upon the scholarships that an applicant would be receiving.

Got Admitted to UofAlberta Full-Time MBA Class of 2022. Happy to see others joining me as well

I was hoping if admitted students can join a Whatsapp group (or literally any other medium where we can connect) for ease of convenience.
