If my work experience was a negative they should have rejected me...but no, they like to have their fun too!

I am not sure. It started moving from Dec-Jan itself, bulk movement was in March.

Like high scores, or premium undegrad, or something similar

Last year did the waitlists do anything to get converted or just plain wait?

I guess they will select as per their cohort diversity also. Depends on what they are missing. That they are most likely to pick.

Ofcourse other basics need to be favorable.

I am not sure if CA is a premium profile or not.

By premium I meant, Tier-1 colleges, client facing roles and other hygiene factors in check. That’s all.
