Hi Guys,
I am hoping to enroll in an MBA program by Fall 2022.
I heard MLT MBA Prep is an amazing program at prepping underrepresented minorities for applications at T10.
Does anyone who is currently in the program and has experience in the program have tips to make myself a strong candidate at getting in? What GMAT should I aim for? What extracurricular activities? Who should I consider writing my reccomendations?
I think I would probably need to apply next summer for the program?

Yes it’s a great program! Absolutely recommend it to all who are eligible. I’m in the MLT Mba Prep 2021 group and have friends across a few other years. It’s great that you are interested and focused on it earlier on.
MLT does well with helping prospective students craft their essays, refine their MBA goals, and gain additional face time with admissions counselors. Additionally you will have the benefit of networking with 200-300 additional professionals who are all go to business school the same year.
In terms of making yourself competitive, I would spend time focusing on the GMAT to be in the 600s as a starting point, and begin to layout your experiences for why you want to pursue your MBA. The recs should come from professional sources as a first choice, but it does not need to be your manager if that will cause friction at work.
MLT is the best program I’ve seen from my research from underrepresented minorities. For several reasons, I think it is a clear choice if you’re planning to get your MBA and want the best chances.
