Hi,
I am working on the application now.
I would appreciate it if some one can help me with one question.
Would the scholarship essay be reviewed by a separate committee ? If
yes, will they also have access to the other essays that I submit ?
I don't want to repeat content unnecessarily

Happy New Year!

The start of 2014 has been an intense and important time for those of you who submitted a Round 2 application to our One-Year MBA, Two-Year MBA or MSM Program. Some of you are still working to complete your application. Others have already done so and are preparing for the admissions interview. Here are 3 useful tips for all of you Round 2 candidates:

  •  Use the application checklist on your Babson Bridge to see if there are still any missing items from your application.
  • Connect with the Graduate Admissions team if you have questions about missing items. We can help with challenges such as adding a new recommender or getting your test scores.
  • Most importantly, if you have been selected for an interview, schedule it as soon as you can. To make it easier for you to complete your admissions interview, we are offering plenty of interview slots during the week and also this Saturday, January 18. Log into your Babson Bridge to schedule your interview
And if you are still working on your application and have not been able to submit yet, let me remind you that our Round 3 deadline is February 17. Whether you are a domestic or international candidate, if you are committed to a full-time program and want to be at the center of entrepreneurial thought and action, it is not too late to apply and be considered for admission and merit-based scholarships.

The Graduate Admissions team is ready to work with you and help you. Stay in touch.

I was interviewed last month on 21st. Am Mechanical engineer working in Tata Motors for the last 2.5 yrs.
Graduated from College of Engineering, Guindy. Average GPA. Very good extracurricular.

Hello GMATCLUB Members,

We are bringing a webinar with Q&A as well as chats with current students focused on the Waitlisted Applicants.
The first event of this series is Webinar conducted by Admissionado's Founder and HBS Alum Jon Frank. Jon will share his suggestions followed by a Q&A session. This is your opportunity to ask your specific questions. The webinar will take place on 31st January 2014, Friday, 9 AM PST.

We shall also be conducting chat sessions with some Current students from various schools who were successfully admitted from a waitlist so you can learn what to expect from the process, what worked for them, and what it takes. These chats shall take place in our Chat Room. We will release the times & Dates (all will be the first week of February)

Have any round 2 applicants heard back yet? Not sure if the 2/14 deadline is when they send decisions by or when they send decisions period.

We’ve been getting questions from candidates who are concerned they may have missed the final deadline to apply and become part of the Babson Blended Learning MBA entering class of March 2014 at our Wellesley campus. While the last deadline is indeed behind us, we will still review and accept qualifying candidates based on space availability. FROM Babson Admissions Blog: Deadlines and a Taste of the Blended Learning MBA
Greetings from Olin Hall where yesterday  our students rewarded us with a great celebration of the Chinese New Year – see picture below!

Two important things for all Babson MBA candidates out there:

  • The One-Year and Two-Year MBA Round 3 applications deadline is Monday, February 17. This is the last regular round for the One-Year MBA program. Afterwards, we will continue accepting and reviewing applications on a rolling admission basis. The Two-Year MBA program has another deadline on April 1 and will move to rolling admissions after that.
  •  We are pleased to announce a new program for students interested in getting a firsthand experience of Babson’s Blended Learning MBA through the offering of a graduate-level, blended learning course in San Francisco – the Babson Blended Learning: Test It Out. We hope to see you in San Francisco!

If you are a prospective graduate student, Graduate Admissions would like to invite you to be our guest at two student-run conferences, both featuring top-notch speakers and the opportunity to network with students, alumni, and industry professionals.

This year’s Babson Energy & Environmental Conference concentrates on the ongoing integration of energy efficiency and sustainability in all industries. Doug Foy, CEO of the Conservation Law Foundation, and Jigar Shah, founder of SunEdison, will give keynote addresses.

The Latin Entrepreneurship Forum’s focus is Passion for a Brighter Future. Carmen Medina, Innovation and Intelligence Specialist Leader at Deloitte Consulting, is this year’s featured speaker.
