Just finished UCLA's admit weekend, got some pretty sweet swag, as follows:

-anderson t-shirt (well designed, and choice of sizes)
-anderson drawstring bag -- super high quality (one that won't fall apart for a long time)
-anderson reusable water bottle...with infuser! (infuser attachment allows you to infuse fruits or veggies in your water - so LA!)
-anderson notebook and pen (eco friendly)
-the honest co organic lip balm (honest co = Jessica Alba's company, she worked with anderson folks to launch it)
-phresh wayfarer sunglasses (phresh = an anderson student's company
-anderson branded sunscreen
-hot wheels car (mattel is in LA)
-blu ray/dvd of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (Lionsgate is a big LA studio, Anderson alums are there)

I've gotten gifts from Kellogg, Duke and Michigan and I'll say Goizueta had the best swag BY FAR.

-A metalic business card holder, complete with your personalized business cards
-A suit carrier with the school logo embroidered on it

^^^these were both high quality gifts and I'm sad I'm not going there because now I can't use them. But I guess that's the advantage of a small class.

Why not? A high quality suit carrier is a high quality suit carrier regardless of the embroidery. I don't care if it says "The University of Phoenix Graduate School of Business (UPGSB)" on it, i'd probably still use it.

So far, I've only received an admit package from Kellogg which included a portable/doesn't need to be plugged in charger. I clearly do not know the official name for this.

LBS sent a neoprene Blue and Red Portfolio with a LBS branded Senator Soft Spring Pen and Lonely Planet pocket guide to London inside with the admit papers.

Oxford Said have sent a Metal pen and metal business card holder with school and university logos engraved on it.

Will update Insead and HBS when get it.

Very expensive stationery…. ;)

Oooh those are nice. I especially love the pocket guide from LBS.

Tuck sent a hat that's actually pretty cute.

The only bad things about all this swag, is what are we supposed to do with them, if we don't go to the school.

Also, I forgot Stern gives a t-shirt to everyone that interviews, not just admitted. I wonder if that means you don't get anything else when admitted.

MIT's little battery pack was cool, and useful... only problem, my company makes those and I have 100s... but not with the MIT logo. I'll take it!

CBS... hmm... I didn't get anything except the acceptance letter, so, maybe that was their gift to me. Any CBS'ers get any good swag?

I got the portable batery from MIT, cool and useful. A bunch of things from Fuqua: a passport "holder", bag with logo (useful if you go to the gym), a Team Fuqua bracelet... not bad at all, but not so cool. And the the best gift of all, the winter hat from Tuck with the note "you are going to need it".

Now time to decide
