Let me start the questions (and answers). If one is starting now their GMAT prep, should one hurry and apply in R1 or wait till R2?

The answer is: Apply when ready! => R2 is better if you have 20+ GMAT points or a better application.

What will you recommend between NUS, NYUAD and INSEAD for MBA given I want to change my career line from consulting to investment banking and want to settle in ASIA in future and have financial constraints (ROI is a criteria for decision making)

Excellent question and we helped 6 candidates last year get into NYUAD (its a new program in UAE and you do one semester in NY) Requirements are similar to other MBAs but they also offer GMAT waivers... (if you want, feel free to send me your CV and GMAT and I can help you with a chances estimation and perhaps work together on some amazing apps

All three programs are short and have a shorter ROI
NUS is great for Asia. NYUAB is better for UAE region and INSEAD is more global (Asia and Europe)

Hi, I am a medical doctor based out of india , I have 3 yrs of work ex mainly in a hospital setting and am looking to move into healthcare consulting post mba. What are the schools i should target for R1 this year considering the economic situations?

What are the chances if i have 675 gmat focus as in Indian, 3.6GPA, 3 years work experience in consulting, little international exposure working with foreign clients and onsites. if i am tragetting INSEAD, NUS Singapore and NYUAD? Planning to apply in september round1

a. all top schools have great marketing courses, clubs and employment options. you can’t go wrong
b. look at employers you are interested in and study near their HQs (for exmpale: Colgate-Palmolive are HQed in NY)

Hi, we work with about 8 doctors every year who ar looking for a career change. ALL top MBA programs accept these profiles if you can tell a nice story about your past (show some business interest) and connect that to your future

Sounds like you have a strong profile. yes, you come from an overrepresented background, but 3y in consulting and a reasonable GMAT are a good basis for MBAs. naturally now, everything will depend on your apps ... (as I said, happy to discuss further in private...)

ther higher the better. reach out with your GMAT and CV to shimriw@ARINGO.com after you take the text... I’m not sure what your weaknesses are, so it’s hard to suggest specific improvements. However, if you lack international experience, managerial experience, promotions, hobbies, or volunteering activities, strengthening any of these areas could be a good start....
