@ christinemmx8,

I agree with ndukyh that you should call CGSM and inquire. After reading some of the CGSM forums from other years this has happened to other applicants before. I would think that withdrawal is possible and fair for you, the schools, and other applicants who would want to go to the school in question. Good luck with your decision, that can't be an easy one to make.

I got the acceptance call at 3:15 CST and I found out that I received a full ride!!!

Except I'm not sure if it was the Consortium fellowship because I don't think those have been given out yet so maybe it's just Yale's merit scholarship $$$. Either way, I'm sooooooo happy!

Congrats! If you ranked Yale first, they have the ability to give you the consortium fellowship before the draft next week.

Thanks for the advice guys - I'll definitely try and contact them and let you know their response.

Are we sure next week's draft is THE draft!? I still haven't heard of major streams of invites from Anderson (who sent confirmation receipts last week and only a handful of Consortium interviews a month ago) or Stern.

Anyone else waiting en masse for invites from a school?

Of course I may just be out of the running at both spots with the draft approaching but just thought I'd throw some optimism out there :|

Yup, the draft is next week. Got confirmation from Cornell. Said we will be notified shortly thereafter if we are awarded a fellowship.

Haven't heard anything from Stern either. Fingers crossed!

Would this mean schools would need to extend an interview invite, conduct an interview, and meet to make a decision all before next week?

Consider my fingers SUPER CROSSED!

Just got notification from Emory. Wasn't expecting to hear from them until tomorrow. The Result: Waitlisted without an interview. I am going to request feedback and see where things go from there!

Is withdrawing an application from one of your schools common among Consortium applicants? A school I had ranked lower, assuming I'd have a slim chance of getting in, accepted me and now I'm worried a higher ranked school of mine may accept me and offer me the fellowship. So I realize how awful it may sound to be "afraid" of getting into a school I ranked high, let alone be offered the fellowship anywhere, but I'm just curious what options I have in the situation I'm now in.

I know the fellowship isn't "transferable" but I'm curious what actually is possible or advisable in my situation. (Hypothetical still at this point)

I think I'll be in a similar position but from what I know there's nothing you can do. This is why they advise us to rank by where we'd want to go most and not try to game the system.

Congrats to all the acceptances that have started to flow in this week.

Anyone get invites from UCLA or Stern?

Time is a ticking!

Also anyone know if you are bound to your highest Consortium school if offered membership but not a fellowship. If finances make another option more attractive but the Consortium is something you don't want to pass up - is that possible?

On a quite unrelated note...is anyone here an MLT fellow (MBA Prep or MBA PD)? If you are willing to share your experiences in the program you can PM me so that we don't take away from the Consortium discussion.

Just heard from USC Marshall. Admitted! I applied through the CSGM R1.

It was a long wait.
