Color me confused as well. A couple weeks ago I got an invite to Cornell's Scholarship Weekend, which starts tomorrow in Ithaca. I was under the impression that Johnson was not planning to extend Consortium fellowships to anyone until after the weekend, with the final decision depending on our performance over the weekend. But I'm reading in this thread that several have already heard from Johnson with fellowship offers; were you guys invited to the Scholarship Weekend? Because it now seems like they have made those decisions ahead of time, which makes me wonder why I was invited in the first place...

Then they likely didn't award you the fellowship. My understanding is at the draft they have a pre-prepared list of students to fight for fellowships. If you received a scholarship invitation (which is still great!) it's likely then that they will try to garner you $ in a different way. Still exciting stuff as it's invite only! Have you heard from an other schools? Consortium or not?
