For International Students, the gist of financial aid seminar can be found below: 1. No merit-cum-need based scholarship available 2. Merit based scholarship is available and such scholarships will continue being given out on a rolling basis 3. No need-based scholarship as such, but financial aid through loan is available 4. If you complete your financial-aid application till January 15th, you will receive your provisional financial-aid package before the deposit date of 12th February. Regarding the Re Vera background check: I spoke with my assigned admissions contact, and she said that normally they do not contact students unless a problem arises. However, she did invite me to circle back with her in a few weeks to see if it had been completed.

Its funny that I can bet heavily that your choice of words "circle back" means that we share the same admissions contact Mine also told me the same thing, to "circle back" a few weeks after my transcripts have been sent. Let us know as and when you hear about your verification being complete.

Has anyone attempted to ask the admission office for an extension on the deposit deadline? My reason is that my girlfriend is applying to medical residency programs, and will not know what city she will end up in until 3/18. Have had mixed results asking at other schools, so just looking for a little intel.
