I don’t think it’s a full yes but more like moving my application to be considered by the GEMBA admissions team instead.

I’m Singaporean with about 11 years experience including military service. 8.5 years experience in oil and gas in technical lead positions with major and mid-size oil and gas major operators spanning 5 countries - UK, Denmark, Qatar, Malaysia and Singapore. Applied without GMAT but due to take it end of this month.

Did they reject your application for a full time mba? Or you can pick between the 2?

They have said they cannot consider me for the FT mba and I’m more suited for the GEMBA.

They said they cannot? That's a strong statement, considering INSEAD students are older than students in the US on average. I know some who also got more than 10 years of experience still got in regular MBA in the US

Ok what I meant was they are not taking my application further with the FT MBA.
I’ll be 37 at the start of 2021 and maybe That was a hurdle for the FT program. However I’m older because of my mandatory military service and I did an MSc In UK as well which was about 1 year. I am also keen to try for the GEMBA but wanted to know if anybody else got the same kind of offer.

Good luck man

Thanks. You are also working with operators in technical lead positions? Upstream or downstream?

Hey guys I feel the same, but knowing everyone's AO and decision now is not going to change anything, there is always the possibility that you get on Friday the invite, despite now it seems that we may not make it hold your thoughts.

So be positive and look to the statistics; from past years data seems that only 1/3 of the interview invites have rolled out so far, still plenty to come! :)
