I just saw one rejection (3.7 GPA 760 GMAT) on clearadmit. Seems tougher and tougher every day

OMG the rejection is also on a rolling basis. Getting more anxious. Anyone receive the invitations recently? It seems no one reports any news for more than three days.

That person received rejection email last Friday. I submitted everything by Apr 27 and still hear nothing. I'm gonna keep calm and carry on

People with 760 generally target USA schools so they are the ones who are rejected faster than others
I think you all are over speculating
If you feel you have a strong application stay tuned if you are not confident then may be its time to move on.

All I would say is stop speculating! I’m saying it just to be positive and be hopeful.

Hi all, I assume you may have received a second email from Marie Rose, I asked her for further clarification and she explained that the email was sent automatically and that if you tried to register automatically you got the access but that does not mean anything.

So she asked not to proceed with the portal until we get a positive interview decision from our AOs.
The system allows you to start applying already but you should not unless you have received a decision.

Regards,
Pablo

No fatnani, this 760 is an INSEAD reject. You may crosscheck on clearadmit.com

Bro I know it’s an insead reject
What I meant was ones with 760 will mostly target other schools as well and in my opinion they tend to settle with a Booth or a Wharton if not STanford or Harvard
So the admissions committee is well versed with it ! Do not stress

Man, I don't think the adcom will reject someone because he/she has a high GMAT score and can go somewhere else!

Please do so asap especially if you have tried all avenues so the AO can assist to contact the alumni, or arrange another alumni for the interview

If they feel that INSEAD is not their real target school and they do not show real interest in their essays they may, and anyway, GPA & GMAT is not everything, just a part.

Quite strange that, when do you have your interview deadline?¿
Did you confirm the contact details with the AO?

You can always contact your AO, if you are unable to reach the interviewer and does not reply by any mean in a week I would have called the AO asap, they can provide other interviewers and who knows why you do not get an answer from the alumn...

I can feel you. I was in the same situation. Just email your AO and they will arrange another one for you. It seems that AO get used to alumni disappearance :)

Hi all, I just started using GMAT club so apologize if my question is too basic. I just finished one of my interviews and I’m not so confident about it. Could some one please tell me the acceptance rate of those who got invited to interviews? Based on other topics in Gmat club it’s quite high but is that true ?

In normal times, admissions consultants report that about half of those interviewed are admitted. But these are not normal times, so not sure...

I would say don't worry too much since a) its really out of your control as its done, and b) you can still shine in the other interview. I also walked away from one of my interviews feeling not very confident as I felt I didn't connect very well personally with the interviewer, but in the end everything turned out well. Just focus on the next interview and see if there's anything you can improve on from this interview.

All the best!

INSEADIESE
i just got a rejection email, I am from India. I have a low gpa and i asked for an extension for the gmat. I honestly was pretty confident about my essays, gave my all, but here we are, did not get an interview invite. So to say that a person with a 3.7 gpa and a 760 gmat got rejected due to a very high gmat because he/she would target/prefer US schools is really weird unless the same person did not show major interest in the essays. For me the gpa and the gmat play a very important role when it comes into the profile eval. Everyone has great stories( Most of them pay the consultants so yeah mostly the essays are good), everyone has excellent recommendations i mean no manager would say, i don't like this person LOL, the reason your managers/colleagues are writing a recommendation for you is that they like you.

So now how do the schools differentiate, obviously via the GMAT & the gpa, especially for someone who belongs to a large applicant pool such as that of India, ofcourse there are "exceptions". Deep down, everyone knows this, but no one says it.

All the best to everyone, i really hope you all do really well \m/ :) :)

Best Regards,

First, unhappy that you got rejected. What is your GPA, if you want to share? Thanks for backing me that adcoms don't reject high GPAs/GMATs purely based on those criteria. But I agree with Pablo though. When did you complete your application that gave you an early decision?

Hi Guys,

Been watching from the sidelines for a few weeks now. Very grateful to this community for the productive discussions and timely update of all issues during these uncertain times!

Thought of updating here since I received an interview invite earlier today. Candidate from India. Applied on 19th May (without GMAT). AO is JM. Best wishes to all for the coming days.
