@xincho

Since they ask the question I think it's information they want. And I think that this could potentially be a positive not a negative. Think of it as an opportunity for them to get to know you as you should the whole application.

INSEAD provides 40 words to explain "any time gaps (2 months or more) since leaving high school that are unaccounted for in your application".

I had two 3-months breaks since high school. One right after high school since university starts in fall. The other instance after an internship - I traveled for month and used the other two months for researching/doing interviews.

I used the given space to explain the second instance. Perhaps, silly question but do I really need to explain 3 months break after high-school? Thank you in advance.

I don't have the numbers you requesting in the second part here but for the interview process I doubt that it would be a wash if two people have different opinions, and it's not always clear what their opinions are from the onset. There are always a lot of surprises with this where you might think that it didn't go well and they submit positive feedback. And the admissions committee is going to look at that feedback within the scope of the whole application, so they're going to be looking for information that validates what is already present in the application. They are especially attuned to consistency, so you'll want to read your application and stick to it. And so when they say that they are looking for interviews as a way to reject, often the people they reject have some variability in their story. Or they demonstrate a lack of fit, like one of their criteria is contribution so if this person seems to be totally in it for themselves and would be a poor alumni, then that would be another disqualifier. Hope this shed some light. neovof15

I have 2 questions:

1) How much weighing do alumni interviews carry? I read that interviews are mainly to reject rather than accept candidates but what happens if the interviewers completely differ in opinion? Would their contradiction make the interview stage almost "irrelevant"?

2) Can someone share the total MBAConnect count admitted and the count for Spanish and French nationals please?

Thanks so much!

any information on when R3 interview invites will be rolled. Its been a month since I have submitted my application. I thought the rolling evaluation will get the interview invites early.

Yes..that is a good idea, but I was under the impression that a group would already be in place setup by the R1 admits.

Hello to all fellow applicants. Venezuelan here that applied to R2. While I was not directly admitted, I'm just got an email that I've been accepted to the waitlist. Perhaps we'll see each other at INSEAD if I'm later accepted from the waitlist.
