US visa slots are booking very fast. Please book your slots after filling out your DS 160 and sevis fees of 350USD.
To do so, you need your I20 after sending your financial document to your chosen university.

Hi all, I have CGPA 6.36/10 in mechanical engineering from IIT MADRAS which could be GPA of 2.65/4 in USA system, I have GRE 330(home based).

*Will I be eligible to apply for M7 or T15 unis.
*is there any minimum GPA requirement to apply.
*If there is no such requirement, is it ideal to apply to M7 or T15 as my CGPA is low

Your low GPA will be compensated with your GRE score.Additionally, please do attempt the optional essay of each applying schools, explaining the reason for your GPA.
M7 with a handful of easy schools should be your go-to strategy to maximize your chances of admission.

Just add: schools never encourage you to convert your CGPA into GPA. For this, there will be 2-3 situations in the application:
1. You can put the exact CGPA/ % and select a scale of 100.
2. Inserting GPA will not be compulsory. So, you can leave it blank.
3. If it is mandatory to write without a scale selection, you can simply put 0.00.

To crack T15 will never be easy for any profile :).
You may DM privately your corporate resume, and a bit brief on career expectations after your MBA. I might suggest some easy schools to crack.

Additionally, when deciding schools to apply, please don't look up only T15, M7, and any other ranking. Different schools have very different cultures. You have your expectations from school. So, it is really really important that your expectation and the school's culture should be aligned when you choose one to apply.
