Haven’t heard any update yet either

I know an R1 waitlist who got the call last week. I’m still waiting for update on my R1 waitlist. As an international, visa will be a big challenge I believe.

Would the final outcomes for waitlisted international candidates be announced on June 1st? I heard that the date was mentioned during the second waitlist webinar, but since I attended the first webinar in January, I was not aware of this update. The FAQs on the website state that the final outcomes will be announced in July. However, there seems to be some conflicting information regarding a potential announcement on June 1st. If anyone has any insights or clarification on the announcement date for waitlisted international candidates, I would greatly appreciate it.

They said waitlist decisions for internationals will be finalized by June 1, 2023 and all other waitlist decisions will be finalized by August 1, 2023. I haven’t gotten any updates on my portal though. Did anyone else get an update?
